Ran into a BLM. I'm a SMN. I can tell there's a fuck ton of tension between players of the two classes. I'm not gonna pretend they're not a magic powerhouse. They have higher DPS. I also try not to get into shit. Problem is we wiped. I wasn't going to say anything. I did my thing like normal. It always worked. Except this time we had a BLM. Now it was my fault. Only time I had ever wiped in that dungeon. He says I was being carried. Makes sense right? Only time I'm not being carried is when we wipe. I'm legitimately angry. I let him die though. So it helps.

I'm not sure about tanks but people have been saying that DRK is almost the same as PLD.

I'm a SMN and I get awfully quick queues, usually 5-15 minutes, and for some reason only reaches 40 minutes in roulettes.

Healing is pretty easy, and each healer having their own gimmick but keep in mind to be careful.
Crafting (and gathering) is one of the excellent ways to earn gil in this game, and very useful for repairing items on your own and such. I'd recommend working on gathering first though.

I'm leveling my crafters, miner, farming ravana for weapons, slowly gearing my 60 botanist, recently got kirin, leveling two alt classes, gearing my second 60 class, doing random shit with friends, helping newbies in my FC with early dungeons, completing my sightseeing log, doing ixali quests and planning to do sylphs next, hunts, farming glamours around and helping my FC with housing and airships, all while playing no more than 5 hours a day because I have a life. Question: I'm currently leveling a marauder. Currently at level 20. When i picked this class, i thought it would've been like WoW were i wasn't stuck tanking at dungeons, and had the freedom to choose to be a dps (which is what i was seeking) I don't feel like the headache of tanking high level dungeons, so i wanted to change classes to lancer.

From what i understood, i need to finish my guild quest-line (Marauder) and go to the other class guild that am seeking, talk to the guild master, equipped the classes weapon, and that's it? or am i missing something?

Also, do i have to start from level 1 all over again? I did most of the story-line quests till level 20, and i don't feel like grinding. Is there any other options?

I'm pretty sure that as soon as you do your lvl 10 class quest (Or was it lvl 10 MSQ) that you're free to change between classes. All you need to do is speak to the guildmaster of each class.

Warrior is the DPS-tank of the trio, think like if a 2H Warrior from WoW were given the tank role instead of the DPS role.

If your going lancer, then your more or less set when you go dragoon on lancer.
As long as you did the level 10 Marauder quest, your free to choose another class, just goto the lancer guild in Gridania and talk to the receptionist there. Yes you will have to restart at level 1 but you'll have a double xp bonus up to your highest level class. Also marauder at level 15 is required to become a dragoon at level 30 for lancer.
