...it's just that something is always lost in-between translations and the original voices are mostly more authentic to the original vision. It's the way it was meant to be played.

You can lose an arm/leg during combat and still continue to function. Replacements can be grown, or you can get yourself a shiny new cyber limb to slap onto that stump.
Gun modding + Enchanting.
Progression of magic has made armor all but worthless. Instead you layer a highly customizable 'oak/stone flesh' type spell on you that provides buffs/resistance to damage.
Clothing and other stuff you wear is completely cosmetic.
'Guilds' reimagined: Dark Brotherhood can stay the same. Mages college is an actual college, with frat parties. Warriors guild are a bunch of bounty hunters. Thieves guild is a plucky gang that you take from anonymity to ruling the city, Saints Row 2 style.
Sewer levels.
Khajit/argonian cyber tails.

This is an very specific request but is there a mod that changes the companions werewolf texture/meshes to make them more unique? I know there's moonlight tales but the MCM only seems to be able to change the texture/mesh of the player.

Its been thousands of years, the dwemer already invented lots of technology and stuff like crossbows and hardened steel shows a clear sign of technological advance.

There are even harder metals in the world allowing for even more advanced technologies. There is constant warfare and magic helps shaping metals.

This combined with dwemer tech should have led them atleast to the industrial age. Also khajiit in space

I was actually planning a full conversion for Skyrim based on the Safehold series.

tl;dr medieval culture that has no idea it's actually the last surviving, far-flung colony of Earth. The original crew brainwashed everyone on board into beleiving they were gods, removed all technology and any knowledge of earth from everyone but themselves, then they dropped a bunch of asteroids on a settlement that tried to keep a "library of alexandria"-style record of Earth and its technology. The person who lead that effort is now the local replacement for Satan. 500 years later, an android wakes up with the goal of reintroducing technology so humanity can go kick the ass of the aliems that killed the rest of humanity. Problem is, orbital death ray that detects any advanced technology, and the original crew may be hidden in the local equivalent of the Vatican.

Oh, and there's a war going on.

There's lots more, but medieval culture thriving on top of a vast trove of hidden technology is pretty fucking fascinating to me. One of the things that drew me to Jak and Daxter.

So I go outside, and theres all these NPC's, I'm dicking about and notice you can sneak, pickpocket and steal, just like in Skyrim right? Can I kill a chicken and steal its meat? Yes i can, I lure the fucker round the back of a house and loot its fleshy corpse. Go around town getting some cookery ingredients like this. Its saying its all stolen items with a bounty, but I dont care, do I? I'm going to be cooking that stuff up to "launder" it anyway.

Oh, look theres a shiny Guard with bling armor on, I'll just pickpocket him, and "have a look", it'll just be like Skyrim right, where looking is cool so long as you dont take?

WRONG MOTHERFUCKER. As soon as I click that Guard Mr Eagle eyes snaps round and tells me i've to pay a bounty for my crimes. But of course, I'm still carrying all this stolen meat, so my bounty is fucking huge. I'm not paying that shit, so I choose to run. what I didnt know is that clicking the Flee button as a lowbie essentially mean that the high level guard just decapitates you, bends you over and fucks your corpse, pretty much instantly. He then takes all my sweet loot, all my gold, and pockets the lot, presumably to have a big rustic KFC style feast with is guard friends later.

I have started a new game after my failed mage. I have EVERY texture watercolored, I think I need nothing else except maybe a few crates to be retextured (because the vanilla ones suck a lot), and have to retexture the Holamayan Monastery Replacer yet, but I'll do that once I reach it.

Here's Max, my Knight. I have put forth a few rules for my playthrough, and make them up as I go:

- No stealing
- Always try to avoid fights, if possible
- Always help those in need
- Don't deal with shady characters
- Don't trade illegal goods (Dwemer Artifacts, Ebony, Moon Sugar, etc.)
- Join one or both of the Imperial Factions and the Fighter's Guild

Unbound is better in basically every way except some of the start locations, since you can actually (as an example) enable dragons to only spawn at word walls after a certain amount of time and not being able to absorb souls or learn words. You can also actually do the civil war without being the dragonborn. Not to mention that the way you start the MQ in LAL is absolutely retarded.

When you first start the game, directly AFTER character creation Skyrims starts loading the mod settings and stuff.

Spellchanges, leveled lists and so on. It needs a moment to do that. Skyrim Unbound, similar to skyrim random start, lets you chose your settings and character edit, but does something fatal after that: It triggers another loading screen, interrupting your mods beeing loaded and initialized. This usually has drastic effects

It seems my Watercolor mod has met its end prematurely, as On the Rocks! was designed with its new textures in mind, meaning they look extremely out of place in an otherwise very tidy landscape.

Shame, since the rock meshes looked so much better. This means my mod is officially complete.

Classes can only learn specific attacks or spells. Three different flavors of ranged staff attacks, plus a healing staff. No variation in attacks (left/right, back, forward) only hold the button down for a stronger attack. LMB+RMB might give you another attack if the weapon supports it. % chance to pickpocket with a ding and the text going green when you have a better chance. Locks are now timed, and lockpicks are consumed per attempt, even if you cancel. You can't pickpocket everybody. Enemies heads flash a red halo when alerted and alerting other enemies. Weight limit replaced with item bag limit. Carry soul gems of your level to respawn immediately if you die instead of game over, otherwise you respawn at the nearest wayshrine. No temples for daily blessings. No thieves guild since everyone has to steal shit if they want to spend less time hunting for materials and more time crafting. No more tempering. You have to craft or find a better weapon if you wish to improve it.

Good: Better UI than vanilla Skyrim and food/drink provides for temporary buffs.
