Could do with some help bbg, i want to make an arcane build and im neot gonna use hunter tools much as i mostly just end up forgetting to use them so the main thing il want is extra damage when using elemental effects. I think Nightmares are realms created by Great Ones in whatever dimension they come from. They all share the same plane as we saw, but the environment in each is different. An analogy would be having several dioramas in a shelf. What they use them for, we know at times (Mensis and Hunter's Nightmare and Hunter's Dream too I guess?) but others we don't (who made Frontier and why?).

The morning ending has everything back to normal and the hunter is relieved of his sin and memories from the night before.

The moon presence ending has the good hunter replace Gehrman, wheeled out in the wheel chair by the Doll as the next hunt begins.

The great one ending has the nightmare conclude once and for all with the Good Hunter ascending.

NG+ has your gravestone in it no matter what and the doll prays at it.

That is an interesting point. If the bloatheads are the people from the hamlet, why do they look mostly human from neck down? They look more human than the fish dudes in the village. Are the Fishmen the way that they are because they've been exposed to Kos for longer? Were the patients in the Research Hall fishmen who Byrgenworth researchers were able to -somewhat- reverse the process on?

It's defintely not a weapon that can sustain dps but as an ARC character, the burst damage is impressive. Especially if you can land an oil pot before hand. Usually I keep people dancing with my arcane tools and if I am lucky land an oil pot. Once they are hit, basically any hit from the boom hammer is a one hit kill, even the basic R1 hits for 900ish damage.

Same shit, nobody's going to die to a R1 spam from a Boom Hammer but with oil pot it becomes a 1-shot. Even if you can't land an Oil pot, you can still take out about 60-75% assuming that they are not wearing fire resisting gear. If they panic, you can finish them off with Blackeye or Call beyond or even a Bone-ashed repeater.

It's definitely a sub weapon though, it has terrible damage per stamina/second, slow moveset. Don't use it unless you have lots of ARC tools, consumables to play mind games with them.

Exclusivity for starters. I think the whole PvP scene really put off a lot of the Souls fanbase because of the implementation of blood gems to the game. Blood gems spit on the whole meta concept imo. [spoilers]But I'm not so sure if you were able to 1-3 shot people without using backstabs in previous souls games. I only truly experienced PvP on Dark Souls II[/spoiler]

Not to mention the chalice dungeons. They're fun as fuck, but they only get to be fun once you finish the grind up to Ilhyl. The patch that makes the chalice dungeons more tolerable came a little too late.
