Maybe I'm just bitter about change. I hate having Evan and Mir with separate attacks, and as autistic as it is I don't like how he doesn't rely on the dragon nearly as much anymore. Evan is a hay-bucking hick, why does he have crazy elemental magic suddenly? And with Mir having much less animations now (combined with the character not needing to rely on him 100%) he's not nearly as cool.
Granted I did just take a look at the skill showcase again and it's not as bad as I first thought, and combining skills to change the properties is really cool. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

The top player in the server, Tiger, was a level 170 or do Dragon Knight and it took him several hours to solo zakum. Bosses before miracle cubes required co-ordination, simply put.

For me and my friends it's mainly about the social aspect. I got turned off by this game when I first started playing because everyone I was playing with would buy cash shop stuff and leave me behind. Even though I usually had more time to play the game than them they just bought exp boosts and other cash shop items to help them while I didn't have the option for any of that.

Some bosses have interesting mechanics if they didn't have 30 million HP and lived long enough to demonstrate them. Zakum fills the map with summons that have different properties, strength and effects and changes the fight for ranged characters. Pap summons exploding stars which inhibit platforming and positioning in the fight. Even crimson balrogs used to be a minute fight, with strong lightning attacks which killed people who couldn't tank it. Think those had 100,000 HP back in the day, though. A level 40 can fuck that shit up.

They take down the servers at like 5-6 AM PST for the big updates. 8-9 hours isn't really that impressive. But they've generally gotten better at patches. They've really fucked up a few recently hyped events though, like the World Leap event, but they gave an extra week for that as compensation.

Servers after patches are more stable these days, but there might be an unscheduled maintenance because they fucked something major up in the patch.

As in the ones you can literally just mine up? Hit the B key or N key pretty sure B was professions and N was Monster Book. Click the Ardentmill button for a free teleport then do a quick piss easy tutorial for mining then use the same portal as the tutorial to go to any color rock you may want. The black rock will drop related black gems and ores though you need to get your mining level up for it. Professions only take a week to master, less if you do it whenever you can and not just as a daily. Even less than that if you play during the time period when the game reset dailies as your fatigue get fully reset at that point.

I decided that i'm no longer gonna bother translating the skill changes for classes unless asked directly because I don't have the methods of unpacks, nor do I know people from southperry to get them early like max and spadow so I don't know the numbers, and they almost never mention the actual numbers in a patch note, so my translation is basically always "damage decreased, line increased". Which is pretty useless information.

It's not much harder, took me about 3 or 4 days playing 3 or 4 hours tops to get to level 100 on a Kinesis, and they have some serious garbage mobbing first and second job, third job sped right the ruck up with smashing and I didn't even have any good gear, stopped getting new ESP drops at like level 60 or 70, overalls that dropped were always fucking female at a corps and sand rats and there is no Crocell and the other demons, no Curbock, no Tot's know how, and some other GMS shit that helps us get by AND NO RNJ

But with the epic potential scrolls you get along the way it's pretty sweet, since you can buy your secondary weapon and start cubing it from level 1 at the worst case, and best case you're already cubing your utgarbage and penislir gear

Classes who hit hard and cap early as the best until cap, at which point the only thing that matters is how many lines you hit per second.

Hero is basically the most balanced character in this regard. Caps very early, and has a solid HPS(unless you're comparing them to thieves, who require an absurd amount of funding to cap with). I believe their HPS gets buffed in a few months too. Along with them getting pretty good mobbing too.
