Man I played GMS for years don't give me that, I know how bad they are. That's why I left. I couldn't take that shit. I noticed glaring errors in their patch updates for 4th job back in the day too, and ended up learning korean so i'd never have to deal with their pussyfooting around certain topics. Like this meso bag shit. I do not agree with it being in the game, but it is, the very least they could do is explicitly show how much the item will cost, and what it will give. But instead they're gonna wait till tomorrow and let rage grow and possibly culminate in a massive group of people just saying "fuck this i'm not gonna bother". They're literally shooting themselves in the foot. And for fucking what, $100 from the average retard? Not worth it when you're losing the chance for massive publicity from a return to "the glory days" of maple global when it had more players than bots.

2. Not all jobs will be maxed. You often 1-2 points short so just save maxing your attacking skill for last as they will be replaced anyway. Passives and buffs should be maxed or you are doing it wrong. Beast Tamer is the only exception.

No, there's no meso bags in KMS, not for sale anyway. You can get them from the new checkin system (10k-1m mesos max each), and then the rare"checkin meso sack" which gives a random amount from 500k-100m every day for a week. We got one of those from a hot time around kinesis' release.

No of course that's not the only reason, but it was a part of it. I learned languages because it was something readily available to me with the internet. It gave me something to do with my infinite free time.

Also, I wanted to point out, because for some reason I missed it, they seem to have fixed the layering issue with pixel shader backgrounds, I got through black heaven perfectly fine, and even saw the greyscale areas in grey. Scary. I need to find a mech to see if I can see colored mechs because I could also see luminous casting reflect. Did GMS get this fix? People playing on laptops (or win 8 in general I guess) will have noticed the gollux labyrinth is now black and white and doesn't lag you to shit anymore.

I'm gonna try out urus and see if they fixed it for him too, cause that was the main contributor in why I couldn't do him. Not that he's worth doing in the first place, but hey.

Only thing I was slightly worried about was the potential for Nexon to lower the meso drop rate to sell more bags. Truth is these meso sacks were so thrown together and Nexon America has such a poor understanding of their own game that I doubt that it even occurred to them to do something like that. If it's like previous meso sacks it will give completely rubbish amounts and will be way overpriced.

Level 140 poverty gear drops from mobs. You'll get that entire set and cube and equip it.
From there you'll need to get good enough to kill empress in a party and get yourself some of her equips for the set bonus on them. AT the same time you need to kill hard magnus for tyrant belts and boots and capes, and do kritias for the gloves. You need to continually do it until you can successfully enhance one to at least 7 stars. 10 at the most.

When that is done you party with others and collect another armor set which is the chaos root abyss set. Those will go with your tyrants and those will be your end game armor. After that you'll need to get strong enough to kill hell gollux. That will give you your end game accessory set and from there that'll be the end of the equips you need to get. After that will be working on them

Well, I learned by just immersing myself in it. I don't know how to speak the language (though I imagine if I just took some time and started practicing that could change), And my knowledge of the language doesn't extend very far outside of MMO terminology and small chitchat type stuff.

But, I use http://www.koreanwikiproject.com/ occasionally to work on new words and stuff.

Also like I said before, if you want to play KMS make sure you learn the KR keyboard layout. pic related. I'll also post the basic sound chart for hangul after this. Learn the sounds associated with the words and it gets a whole lot easier to learn the actual words.

Korean's deceptively easy to learn. Seems difficult to learn everything but I picked it up quick, and most other people do too. The hardest part, like with most character based languages for a native english speaker, is the words. It took me forever to figure out how to learn words, eventually I just went and bought a big fuckoff english to korean dictionary and started reading it. Then that got too hard so I started using the wiki I posted earlier.

For newbies who want to play on reboot but seriously don't know how to play now there is a small purple button under the map with the words "Maple Guide". Click it and follow it. It is good enough if ignoring Kerning city quests and stupid bullshit suggestions like killing hundreds of bubble fishs and nependeaths. If the exp/map/spawn of the suggestion seem bad then it most likely is, just use common sense and you should be fine. The game don't start until around level 120 where you suddenly get a shit ton of content to do all at once. Endgame is about 140 as stated by this anon >>124056682 and people can reach level 100-120 easily in a day assuming they don't have work/school to worry about on that day. You just kinda have to put up with what is basically the extended tutorial that Nexon had crafted over the years until it just ends.

Training guides are always out of date and assuming reboot will at least have people just trying it out on day one all of the training spots will be taken up anyway. Golems for example I can guarantee will have people around it all day.

They can rip out a bosses soul and then attack it for double damage on the boss.

Demon avengers are great in reboot. Basically any class that's really powerful early on is good on reboot because early on is the hardest when enemies are so wildly overpowered that it'll take 4-5 hits to kill trash mobs. When you get to a higher level you'll start cubing your shit and it becomes less of an issue.

Shade can rip out souls as the other guy stated but it also give double exp because of it iirc. They also can stun some bosses for a decent amount of time, have no buffs to worry about and their link skill is a 10% chance of reviving on top of the phoenix skill which is a guarantee revive with a cooldown of like 5 mins. I heard stories that between the two people had die and revive like 5 times in a single boss fight without losing exp because of it.

Amazing class with a cute story as a bonus. Pretty tanky as far as pirates go, you can pretty much play it as a warrior until late game (and lack of armor with high defense) start catching up to it.

Don't know, you'd have to check your email, they usually send out emails trying to get players to come back. They just had one for the alishan patch though so I don't think they'll have one for reboot.

If you wear such items beside the zakum helm then people will just laugh at you. Scrolls are less importation than the enchantment system and the enchantment stars (and the stats that they give) are based on the level of the equipment.

Nowadays I see people use spell traces to 100% their item just to get the benefits of the stars.

Reboot remove the idea of scrolling for the most part. I believe you can literally only use the enchantment system on it and the new hammer system.

Zakum helm is still pretty good but there is better versions of the same helm now.

Yea, if you know how the endgame works and how to set yourself up for success then totally go for Phantom. You get six slots right off the bat and the gift box event allow you to get 3 more on top of that easily. Add the fact you can just buy more slots with mesos in reboot there is extremely little excuse to try both and stick with the one you like better.

I DO very vividly remember the patch when they changed the stairs from ludibrium to Eos, so you could walk up them as a slope instead of having to jump though.
