Saber class only uses swords. All classes have their disadvantage, if you fight better with another weapon then too bad, you don't get to use it if you're Saber. Lancelot has Arondight, and EAM would probably apply to any other SWORD that he has, but it wouldn't generalise to other types of weapons like it does when he's a Berserker because Berserkers aren't restricted by the weapons they can use.

As far as heroic spirits go, Lancelot is not anywhere near on par with Heracles. Heracles is from the Age of Gods, for one, whereas Lancelot is from the Age of Kings. Furthermore, Heracles is THE most famous hero from the Age of Gods. He was the most prominent hero in both Greek and Roman mythology, and both of those civilisations ruled the world for a very, very long time and were the founders of western civilisation.

As far as heroic spirits go, Heracles is probably in the top 10 most powerful spirits residing in the throne of heroes. Statwise he's insanely powerful in any class, but Archer is his most powerful class. He's probably the most powerful Archer that can be summoned if you disregard Ea for a moment.

Lancelot really doesn't compare to Heracles at all. It's a meme perpetrated by Lancelotfags in /fgog/ because they're obnoxious that Lancelot is in anyway comparable to Heracles, but really, the distance between them is not unlike the distance between Gil and Diarmuid.
