Like I said, I've done it a good bit in the past. I would still do it, if it weren't so time consuming. The desire is there, the willpower is not. My passion for making screenshots is not as high as it used to be. It doesn't make him a kek. Ilx is Vinella's canon love-muffin, and I don't need to take pictures of them together for that to remain true.

Edit an ENB preset you find, most good looking ones put everything to the max for the best look. If you tone down the quality of the AA, Skylighting etc. You'll get a somewhat decent framerate, I also turn off DOF because it gives me a headache and AO while it does look nice it does eat up too many frames for me.

Whats the ponit in that? I'm already using Revenge of the Enemies, Violens, UCO on Legendary difficulty to beef the enemies up a bit, and they're still a complete walk-over in some fights. If I toss some OP spells in there, its just going to make the game even more boring.

I know, but I'm a special case. Maybe it doesn't take him hours to set up a single scene, and maybe it doesn't take you hours either, but it does me. I said it in the last thread, it's a personal problem.

Also, I really feel that if I'm going to take pictures with a follower, they MUST be tricky/complex shots. They have to at least not be standing there idle, staring at my character, and that takes a lot of time just finding the right pose.

To which of course you could say "Use that guide", to which I would say "That takes planning!"
I don't know, I just don't like taking screenshots with multiple actors.

Ohfuckohfuckohfuck. Winter is here and i still haven't modded my Skyrim ready yet!

Has anybody made a good mod install list with tutorials and shit that would make the game just basically an "enhanced vanilla" version?

I want the game to look like the original, with better textures and shit, and no lore-breaking armor. Fuck the "beautiful elves" and every other horseshit the "fans" have made to rape the lore or the game. Also an skyrim:ish enb would be nice too. No drastic color modifications or a stupid looking soapgreen water, just some basic shit.

I have been looking at STEP a lot. I think with small alterations it could be made to work good enough. Ran out of time to make my own mod list work. Any ideas, recommendations?

I've been considering making an installer that just lets you check off several major things and then downloads and installs MO, dumps everything in MO's mod folder, extracts everything, sorts the mods, chucks it into MO's folder, sets up the INI, enables all of the mods, and then starts up MO and tells you to go nuts.

Working perfectly for me, largely using STEP Extended, with a fair bit of stuff ripped out for my own preferences, plus other stuff on top. Around 270 mods, all in.

I'm pretty content that Skyrim seems to be working enough for me to actually play it. It took a lot of time troubleshooting things but the only problems I really have now are the occasional freezing (the game doesn't recover from it, so I have to end the process and restart it) and infinite loading screen (these are evil).

Yeah I've been doing some radiant questing too, and taking followers I have only a passing interest in dragging around. Most of my time spent will probably be more on the building things side, but damn if that doesn't get boring quickly too. Especially when there's still not a lot of selection even with modding.

It's definitely working, but I think it might be the several layers of sharpening on top of aliasing that's making things really rough for you. If you have a SweetFX_settings.txt in your Skyrim folder, open it up and set Lumasharpening to 0. You can try temporarily pulling out your effect.txt as well as that usually has buckets of sharpening.

Then in your enblocal.ini make sure edgeAA is active, temporal too if you're running between 45 and 60+ FPS (leave it off if you're not because fuck ghosting.)

Still there even with all of those changes, I should probably mention I also notice this texture fuckery in other games, it's not as bad as in Skyrim. But it seems to be everywhere, that's why I assumed it was a graphics card problem, guess I've got to live with it.

I agree I would have to install a shitload of things, then again, thankfully Mod Organizer makes installing things a breeze. I would start first with everything that has an .esp, I would leave meshes and textures for last and install as I play.
