If you don't have a shitty ADC, then yes, support is the easiest role in the game. You literally sit in lane and watch them farm while warding every now and then.

Top lanes have a more difficult time because they don't have someone with them, so they need to be more aware of where the jungler is, as well as look over the bot lane incase they need help.
