So I just got bb since it was on sale on psn. Coming from sf (I play characters like Rose, Urien, Karin) and in GG I play Leo and I-no, what would be some good characters to try out?

I tried out Celica, Bullet, Haku-men, Noel, and so far Haku-men and Noel speak to me the most. I like Haku-men's high damage without having to know crazy long combos and good range normals, and I like Noel's lack of drive meter.

My Xrd friends who just started getting into BB were mindfucked by this since they realized there's no green burst on block in this game anymore. It never occurred to me about it too until I started playing Xrd more recently. I thought EA was a gimmick when they first introduced it but realized it's kind of necessary for some characters to make their burst a lot more usable with the lack of defensive bursting.

Ust use together moves that gatling into each other It's similar to a BnB combo honestly, but a coom on pathway is 2A < 2B (or 5B) < 5C < 2C < 5D < 2D or 6B < repeat.

There's a lot of different ways to go about blocks strings though. Like, you do the same as above, except skip the B moves. Or if you're trying to hit from max range, you can just do 2B < 2C < 5D, since this are his longest pokes.

Different ways to actually open people up and hit them while they're blocking is you can go for a tick throw, where you hit them with 2A, and then immediately run up and throw them. 2C is jump cancelled on block, so you can use 2D which is an overhead. It's hard to combo into though, but if you can't combo, you can keep pressuring them, or you can mix up and go for a throw.

Also, 6B is a very powerful pressure tool. It has lower invincibility, so lows won't hit you while it's out. It has a large hitbox, so good for restarting pressure if they're pushed away. It's also throw invincible, so you can act like you're going for a tick throw, and do 6B instread, and it'll fatal counter if they try to tech the throw. Also, if you hold down 6B, it'll be a feint, and the hitbox won't come out, but you can run immediately after and go for a throw, which can throw a lot of people off if you mix up the attack a lot.
