I think that's because you were a vessel due to getting hit by her slow-ass E before R'ing. If that's so, yeah, you just got obliterated in the most obvious way.

I think to deal with Illaoi is by fighting her pre-6 since post-6 is pretty much skill match-up since she needs to hit her E. If she hits her E, you can't fight back since she has her R up unless you do some Faker shit and dodge these tentacles.

Irelia is pretty good against Illaoi pre-6, I think, because she's an all-in or just a short trading monster like Jax.

If she wastes her E and possibly her Q, you can go in I suppose.

Walk away and deal with the slow-ass tentacles that spawn. It's not worth going melee-range and next to your vessel to fight back because she'll automatically spawn two tentacles, hit W and the tentacles will get like two slams on you. Not really worth in my opinion.

Also, don't react to your jungler ganking, because, once Illaoi hits six, she's at her strongest and 2v1 is what she wants off of you.

Pretty much.

The cooldown is pretty high on E, about 20 seconds level 1. You can't really respond to her whiffing a Q or a W because Q has a 6 second cooldown on level 5 and W has a 6 second cooldown level 1. Her Q is at 10 seconds cooldown at level 1, so, you could punish her for whiffing that early game but once she gets BC or just a CDR item, you're kinda in a rough spot and to only farm.

W pretty much forces the tentacles that are at her reach to attack you one time. This means, that if she gets her ult off, and W, you'll probably receive two slams from the tentacles. Try to prioritize her lonesome tentacles.

You'll have a bad time if you leave these lonely tentacles in the background because if she hits an E on you and you run away, she'll create a major pressure due to these lonesome tentacles becoming active and to punish you. That means that you'll become Neo and attempt to dodge them all.

You're both wrong, she doesn't "crit on every attack" but since 5.23 she also has crits but instead of doing more damage her crits apply a more powerful slow.
The reason you don't take warlord is because since your crits are weaker than other ADCs it's not really worth it and her Q synergizes better with fervor in lane.

Tiger udyr has one of the biggest ad ratios in the game and the best attack speed steroid, he scales best off AD,pen and CDR. Tiger udyr can do huge amounts of damage with full tank+black cleaver

Udyr gets very little from crit since you're not going IE or warlords, the only crit item I would recommend is ghostblade and only if you're ahead because you need to be tanky for team fights

I made that mistake my first few games as well. It does seem pretty nice to give mid and the jungle a health shrine, but then you try out the level 1 q and completely shit on your opponents the moment they enter the lane and realize the truth.

Stunning the monster also helps the jungler more than a shrine.

Swain is the most underrated Mage. If you build properly and land your E you are neigh unkillable.

Malzahar is too reliant on his ult to be a good champ imo. Sure you can say the same of swain but his ult cd is like 4 seconds.
