It has to do with how I simulate offline combat. It's tied to squad member ranks, and Clear Sky for some fucking reason has people with ranks upward to 900 when the max rank for other factions is ~70.

Looking closer actually, it looks like most of the scripts are just from updates and don't have modifications to them (at least, not hugely noticeable differences).

Try installing his mod first then mine. Maybe that'll work. If not, post a crash log. Make a backup of your gamedata directory first if you do that though.

Never had a problem with ATI graphics cards, sorry they haven't worked for you. I have been building with ATI cards since I built my first computer with my dad at the age of 9 and haven't looked back since. Well, the problem is that I'm trying to maintain as much compatibility as possible with weapon mods. If I weren't trying to do that then this wouldn't be weird at all and I could solve the issue very quickly. I know exactly how to fix it without giving a fuck about compatibility.

Ok one simple fix I can think of: Since its simulation squads who take over trader jobs, I can just give all simulation squads spawned through my mod a lot of money.

The downside is that all squads at a base would have a lot of money, so you wouldn't necessarily need to go to a trader to sell off stuff (just buy).

Another option is to spawn generic NPCs named "Trader" or "Mechanic" at owned bases that have trader jobs etc.

Yeah but again then it would conflict with weapon mods.

All weapon mods overwrite trader files and all weapon mods overwrite configs/gameplay/character_desc_general.xml (along with some others).

The infinitive for money is specified in character_desc_general.xml. So if I overwrite that, it will only have vanilla weapons around with NPCs. That's the issue I'm dealing with.

It'd be very easy to fix doing what you said, by setting this for all simulation squads:
<money min="100000" max="100000" infinitive="1"/>

Though then they'd all have infinite money and the economy might go to shit (though I think hundreds of guns on the ground also does that)

I'm actually working on another simple fix now. Turns out there is already a Trader faction, so I think for at least a quick patch I'm going to make all traders and mechanics part of the trader faction.

Though that might get weird and mean you can get assassination tasks from the mercs up in dead city as military... But at least it'd solve the issue temporarily.

Yeah pretty much to echo what the others said, it's unable to find the guitar_b section.

In CoC at least, the guitars are defined in gamedata\configs\misc\items.ltx. You'd need to copy the section [guitar_b] into the AMK items.ltx (or weapons.ltx or really any of those, they all get loaded the same from what I can tell).

After you copy the section, everything should be good to go for you. You'll probably need to copy the mesh and texture like the other person mentioned as well; you'll find the mesh listed in the [guitar_b] section most likely, the texture you'll have to look for it. Another option to find the texture is to get the mesh in, then hit tilde after loading the game and find any errors related to missing textures by pressing page up.

With AO3 and STCSWP they have something called "multitool" in your inventory. If its not there something fucked up. Otherwise, in vanilla CoP, you right click the gun and hit detach scope. The shoker system is a bit of a cheat to get multiple scopes for weapons.

You'll see lines like <specific character id="actor_stalker" etc etc at the top.

Underneath you'll probably see something about loadouts which is the starting loadouts for the player. Each faction has an actor_factionName character defined.

Anonguy's Cocmod has many of the core updates in CoC itself rolled into it. This was a win when 1.2.22 hadn't been released yet, but is now a pita that 1.2.24 has been out.

The conflicts you're seeing are probably against scripts that are in base 1.2.24.

He should redo the mod against 1.2.24 if he wants to make it easily mergeable.

Unless you want nostalgia, you want a weapons mod. The best is STCSWP. AO3 is a meme. OWR3 is good if you want reskinned vanilla weapons.

Warfare is like TFW for Clear Sky. The guy posts in the thread and is getting shit done pretty much every thread, but it's playable now. If you're not bored with CoC already, get Warfare. Otherwise, it can be fun without it but it's a lot less dynamic.

I think the crazyness in the Military Warehouse is part of the charm of your mod, everytime my faction decide to invade it, it brings some epic moments. I remember being pinned for 30 minutes in a farmhouse with a few Monolithian comrade, trying to push back Freedom from the west, Duty from the North and Mercenaries from the east, it was awesome :D

I played CoC 1.2 for a few hours, got some artifacts, got me an ak and upgraded it.

Then I tried to go on an actual expidition and realised that by the time I got to where I was going, and shot a few soldiers, my AK was at 2/3 durability, I make it through the swamp, collect some more artifacts, shoot more soldiers, pick up some loot, have some fun along the way. Everything comes crashing down when I get back, sell the artifacts, and head to get my ak repaired (which after less than 1 day in the zone is at about 4 red bars of durability, and the bill to repair is about 13.5k, and I only made 14k on that expidition.

What gives, why are weapon durability and repair costs so out of whack that you literally can't progress in the early game?

Just out of the starting area. Cordon is a warzone filled with military, bloodsuckers, and bandits. Great Swamps are a lot calmer but there are some military guys there as well, and the only way north through there is through Agroprom which I know is full of military as well. Even the fucking sandniggers bring AKMs instead of AK-47s, sandniggers also dont really use tokarevs, they use the makarov more than anything. You also seriously dont need 900 rounds of AP ammo if you are going full jihadi unless you are going to kill every NPC in the entire zone. The RPG is literally the only thing you have right.
