It is, that is 50 points you don't have to put into DEX and you can put into STR (which has 60% increase at rank 6, so 80 STR).

You are not really going to get higher than level 5 green gems for your equipment unless you really go out of your way to do so, so the extra crit from Finestra really helps you stay within a good range of critical hits.

More STR also means higher return value from Deeds of Valor.

You can also see that the icewall mostly broke early in. I don't know if that's normal but when I had my ice rod, made the wall as a level 6 rather than 5 spell, then switched to my staff for wacking I know it didn't do that. So maybe a cryo 3 with higher level icewall would pull out a lot more because the wall survived.

Does Ice Wall gain more HP or shoot more shards at higher ranks? Because it has the same duration at all ranks. I feel like it may not be practical to get more than 5 ranks if this isn't the case, because most of the wall blocks will decay before you get use out of them anyway.

I think you were wondering how well Psychic Pressure works with Icewall. This is Icewall + Psychic Pressure with the same gear minus the giant hand. PP hits the walls a LOT faster than you can with your dagger even if you link them.

I might try Kino + Thaum in OBT though, a giant hand doing Psychic Pressure sounds fun.

temple shooter hits twice. unlike shadowgaler, these are two full hits. if a normal summon hits for 1000 damage on their regular attack, shadowgaler hits for 500x2. Templeshooter, however, will hit for 1000x2. at ranged. and it has decent skills when mounted.

at least as far as this beta is concerned templeshooter is the only card a sorc needs (other than the cards you should be using to feed your templeshooter).

What skills? Depends entirely on what you want. I'd go with summon > hold > riding > summon familiar 2 > whatever floats your boat after that.

Also the invisible cooldowns apply to all summons, not just templeshooter.

I think it gets bugged if you try to get it after a certain point in the game or have certain other achievements. It bugged on my main character but worked fine when I did it with 3 alts right at the beginning of the game.

I mean it's pretty standard just minor efficiency things. Don't take more than 1 EBolt and then choose if you want 4 Sleep or 3 Sleep 1 Lethargy for the strike attribute, or 3 Lethargy for the enhance attribute.

Take at least 1 point from Tele to Swap.

I would leave Ice Wall at 7 personally. Maxing it makes it tedious to cast all the tiles and you can't really use them all in the duration anyway. I'd suggest a value point in Gust dump the rest into Bolt.

Maxing it is actually detrimental, I'd say. It gives one buff per level, starting with aoe > sp regen rate. Given the cap of buffs without daino, it's not a useful skill in a party situation, or even solo as it would discard your reflect shield if you used it.

cat casts (on average) a number of buffs equal to it's skill level 1 is usually just one buff, level 2 is two buffs, etc.
Level 1: AoE Ratio +1
Level 2: Reduced SP regen TIME (it's like 7s instead of 10s for an SP tick)
Level 3: Constant Stamina Regen
Level 4: 40 MDEF
Level 5: +20 Dark Damage (like arde dagger)

Levels 4 and 5 are pretty bad. If you're gonna take it, just leave it at 3. The Stamina regen is pretty nice if you end up with a monk or some other stamina hungry class.

One thing I forgot to mention is that if you're fighting a boss world and happen to link your ice wall together to the boss out of desperation, the walls will be destroyed in 1 sec and I don't even think any shards will be shot at all.
