Take it slow and get your DoLs up while you wait for leves to refresh and sell the materials you're gathering if they have sell value like silver, mythril and electrum ore. 1-50 BTN isn't that great.

But yea you'll need lv 50 carp for byregots blessing, bsm for ingenuity, arm for rapid synth (not used that much but nice to have around), gsm for piece by piece and innovation, ltw for waste not, weaver for careful synthesis II and alch for comfort zone (and tricks of the trade). Byregot's blessing can be somewhat replaced by byregot brow but while the carp one can be used anytime, the one you get at every lv 51 class isn't bad but you're forced to only use it during good/excellent conditions.

Yeah I always hated healing them (and still hate healing certain ones), then I leveled the job and wound up liking it. Sometimes you just gotta stand in shit, and sometimes the healer can easily keep you alive, but you can't really call them out if you take a risk and die.

why do they KEEP adding gear that isn't dyeable. What the fuck is SE doing, it's like they have literally not learned since 2.0 when they had this unnessecarily expansive dye system with NO glamours and all the gear at end game wasn't dyeable, and they are still adding bullshit that can't be dyed like Firion's clothes, the FFXI gear, Void Ark gear, dungeon gear. Normal being harder, Savage being the same. Both have the exact same ilvl on gear. But separate lockouts and Savage also earns you a title for each turn.
