Actually crafting is hard. Like, the 4 different level 50 pre-requisite, the gearing, (meld is optional) is very straining, time consuming, and gay.

And just practicing and getting into cooking itself is very complicated since this is a VERY unorthodox crafting system.

So I've switched from summoner, who is often portrayed as one of the hardest characters to play, to Bard, who is considered one of the easiest.

Why is my experience completely the opposite? I was doing brainless job on summoner, running only two rotations depending if I needed aoe or to hit a stronger, single target enemy.

But on Bard I have some delicious OCDs, I look at my procs, I constantly think if I I'm gonna deal more dmg one way or another. People warned me that Bard is a brainless job but I actually felt completely brainless on Summoner. Bard requires me to constantly observe the situation and adapt, if I want to maintain my highest DPS and not be a shitter.

I like it.

Bard is fucking easy as shit. There's no set rotation after your opener and it's pretty much just blowing fucking everything that's on cooldown or has proc'd while keeping straight shot up and throwing iron jaws to refresh all your dots for free. And the rotation for AOEing is just rod and quick nock spam.

I have trouble maintaining dots on multiple targets outside of bane range because I always forget about whatever I'm not targetting, but that's just me. Single target isn't bad. I hate learning a new fight with invuln phases though because you get fucked if you just casted fresh dots.

Point is, you can explain the main points of every job and say it's easy. Not everyone finds the same things easy.

It floats mostly so you aren't trying to fit an attachment directly on your gun. It's pretty silly but I suppose it was less workload than making custom attachments for every gun.
