I don't have HoT so I don't know how the new guild system works, but guilds used to get influence based on how many members were repping and doing stuff together. I'm sure there are other reasons for the super hardcore guilds to be on your case about that kinda thing, but I don't really know what they might be.

If you ever want to try scrapper just rub with enough knights for 2.5k armour then run zerks everywhere else. Run scrapper runes for more tankiness and the explosions inventions and scrapper. Take gkit because obvious reasons then others are situational, I suggest keeping battering ram at all times in hot areas, just destroys breakbars. Mkit for bosses and supply drop for bosses that need large amounts of cc and groups of enemies.

Really liking my Engi so far.
The difference really WAS playing as a cute Femsura. So much more satisfying than male charr.
I like the gameplay, really fast and diverse. Similar to my Ele, but with engi I can just switch to a weapon kit, use one ability and then switch back, which almost seems like cheating.

We have played a little Guild wars 2 before and like the gamepllay but we aren't really sure what happens at end game. What is there to do?

A few things: I'm not sure how to word it but when stuff in the gemstore is clearly related to playable content in the game and would make a great reward but it's only earnable with gems that rubs me the wrong way. The exalted glider, mini Sabetha, and such seem that way to me. With the hypothetical SAB pack I'm not interested at all in paying gems on things based on temporary content without being able to earn it by doing the content related to it. Lastly, gemstore packages are disgusting because there's no option to get just an individual item if someone just wants that. If someone has all of the electro dyes and they just want the SAB glider paying 2000 gems for a bunch of stuff that they're not going to/can't use is ridiculous.
