How do i change the default 'X+Y' hotkey in NTR 3.1. I go to set-hotkey in the menu but anything i press just takes me out, its beginning to make me feel stupid.

Hi guys, a couple of questions:
1) I installed freemultipatcher back when 10.2 was the last update. I never used it anyway as I didn't need to play online or access eshop. Do I need to download a newer version and reinstall it to makes use of it? How does it work?

2) Similarly I have installed NTR (and used it to play FE:if), if I wanted to update to 3.1 do I just need to install the new CIA and it will overwrite the old one? Or do I have to manually delete the older version?

No, but if the eShop doesn't work you have to either update to 10.3 or update NVer alone.

I've gone through numerous CIA files(that are likely copies of the same one), and I for the love of me cannot solve this problem. Sonic Lost World in CIA form will not load on my JP 9.5 Gateway N3DS. I don't understand why, and I've even tried "region-free" CIA files. Does anyone know why this is happening? Has anyone had a similar experience? I was hoping to not have to rely on my rip of the game. Even my own conversion from 3DS to CIA didn't work.

Yes but for Old 3DS only and you need the latest version of gateway. New 3DS can't go past 9.5 emunand.

Trying to install a converted Cia of dsiware, installed fine on emunand, fails to install on sysnand. When I boot it an error shows up and I have to reboot. The only thing I could find on fixing this is me needing to get a flashcart. Is there anyway I can get it to run without one?

The thread made it sound like you can't just firmware spoof the N3DS and then transfer the N3DS XL to its emunand. I saw he said a way around this issue if you have a device above 9.2 was to transfer to an O3DS with CFW, but I guess that only helps people whose updated 3DS they want to transfer from is an O3DS.

So I am trying to transfer the gatewat oot save to the cart and I keep getting errors on svdt. I already held XYAB when booting oot to delete all the save data.
Where should the save file be on the sd in order to transfer properly?
And is there any specific name that the gw save needs to have?

Okay, so I finally got the homebrew menu opening from oot using smegma's oot hax installer.
I backed up my sd, and put the cakes files on the sd, and I am apparently missing firmware.bin. Do I have to use rxtools to get the firmware.bin?

Theme hax let's you auto boot into cfw when you turn the system on but it requires 9.0-9.2

MSET lets you boot into cfw by going to the ds profile in system settings. You have to do it everytime you want to get to CFW

Both are offline options but i prefer themehax because its more convenient

I think that sort of situation is why people dig up as many exploits as possible, actually. I remember a few months ago Smea had mentioned that OoT could be used for something but it would be a "waste". I bet these guys who find good exploits wanna keep them hidden and try to release shitty ones like the browser exploits so that the good ones work on more version.

Some sort of hardware exploit would be pretty sweet, especially if it was on the N3DS. I don't know if the same is possible on the 3DS, but I remember in the iOS jailbreaking scene a hardware exploit meant it was immune to being patched

So I've been out of the loop for a while in terms of 3DS stuff. I have a 9.2 3DS and started running rxTools back when it first got reverse engineered a few months ago to run pirated games, and only kept up until rxTools 2.6.
