Honestly vial is pretty cheap in comparison to Yak. It's around the same range as the panthers and they're a dime a dozen.

I'm not saying that 100k is "expensive" but I think it's a wall that a lot of players who aren't willing to meme (whether that's by playing a lot or AH jewing) to get towards. It's once you get into the Yak/Rocket/TCG mount range where it's pretty meme to be riding around on.

Perhaps. I mean I don't know what criteria the guy who posts the list goes throughs but I always break it down into "it's a rare mount that is still obtainable without massive effort/money but is still sub 10-5 percent of the playerbase".

I don't think there's anything wrong with meme mounts and you should never give a shit about people who hate your mount or some dumb shit but I think the stigmata is that a lot of people riding on ashes or what have you do it because they don't have a truly phantom mount like the pvp title ones or early as shit epics which are sub .9%.

I mean a lot of those mounts on his list (which I don't completely agree with) are all just RNG on old raid content or other similar "easy" if not repetitive and luck based grinds. I mean at the end it still feels good for ashes to drop and if you want to ride around on it I don't give a fuck but a lot of kids do go "I got ashes/invisible/etc I'm UNIQUE LOOK" more so than people with shit like classic tiger or ram.

What it comes down to is the fact that Blizzard and the playerbase as a whole really care about PVP bots more than anything. You remember that BIG banwave that happened roughly after the videos of entire BGs being filled with highlighted just how shit PVP had gotten? Blizzard cares more about bots in those scenarios and players are more likely to report a bot shitting up their BGs than a bot running into a wall because his pathing got fucked while questing.

I'm not saying you will get caught and it's not like there's a percentage of "unbanned" vs "banned" but PVP is the most risky of all botting. Anecdotally I have two bot accounts for questing/farming and I've never been caught after hundreds of hours of semi supervised botting but even then that's just me. Do at your own risk.

If it had happened I'm sure the alliance would have been pissed about getting fucking pandas but in Cata Alliance got the "serious" race and Horde got the meme race so who cares if that got switched for a second time.
