They would probably probably abandon that aspect all together and go back to a 2D gameplay perspective. That would instantly fix a lot of the problems with the game. (and keep the 3d aspect for Ride Boarski's stage like the did with Avalanche Yeti's and redesign it to be less of a clusterfuck that you have to travel super slowly through.)

Alternatively they could rework the 3D parts in intermittently as a gimmick in a way that works, instead of making the entire stages 3D.

Hell, just give me 32/64 bit Axl. Take 2D to the limit, and it would STILL be cheaper than 3D.

That said, Axl's gameplay is innately flawed when paired with a controller. You would need something like twinstick controls WITH jumping to make his guns work. Gunvolt had the right idea for making a constant stream of damage work on this genre.

As for ways to make 3D work....they just lack polish. Animations don't feel weighty, and it's obvious that they were much more limited by time constraints when you look at all the danger rooms where you're required to kill all the enemies.

Ah, I know a way to make navigators actually useful: X, THE WEAKPOINT IS THE UNDERBELLY, SHOOT THAT. it would really make things easier.

Metal Shark Player became Gate's assistant though most of his creations and associates sadly started avoiding Gate.

Blizzard Wolfgang became a hunter teamed up with Chill Penguin to keep him socialized and prevent him from getting bored.

Infinity Majinion runs the entire bounty database to gather up to date data on criminals though he himself no longer desires anything to do with fighting.

Shield Sheldon became a bounty hunter himself, after being inspired by X that he could do good for others.

Blaze Heatnix tried to be a bounty hunter but his sponsor couldn't keep him in line. He got kicked out and ended up with a bounty on his head.

I also specified in my bounty hunting guild world building, what "dead or alive" would qualify as.

Alive means that for a bounty to be considered alive, if they are incapacitated, it must be possible to make them conscious again without extensive repairs. There are incentives in place to make sure that this happens. The less damaged a bounty is when it is delivered, the hunter(s) that brought it in get to keep a bigger chunk of the bounty. The exception is if a bounty is requested dead. This usually happens to Most Wanted bounties.

Dark Dizzy and most prior mavericks (exceptions include terrorists) would have been pardoned for their crimes under the new laws that dissolved Maverick Hunter HQ. Dark Dizzy did nothing wrong until the events of X5 because he was infected. Up until then he ran away and laid low (implied he lived peacefully without bothering anyone.) In fact he was so inactive that Sigma forgot that he ever created him. Simply being made by someone isn't a crime.

Slash Grizzly became a legit weapons dealer for bounty hunters. He sells Vile and Nova their ride armor parts and he'll sell upgrades and stuff to Zero, X and Axl.
Bamboo Pandemonium reformed and lead a life of peace at a bomb disposal facility.
Burn Rooster became a bounty hunter with the intent of keeping other reploids from dying needlessly. He still doesn't like X, Zero or Axl though and doesn't really get along with them.
Not sure if they would bother bringing Double back but if they did he and magma dragoon would both end up with bounties again.

Those are some interesting charges for Axle and nice job adding the shadow devil. I didn't think about less important bosses getting bounties on them.

If you press 'C' the pizza guy will ask for the password (grimoire7) at the end. If you put in the extension he gives you (482), you get a Japanese message and I think that's it.
