So how do the companion quests work? I've done Mcreadys and Cait's quest, but I feel like Cait's probably has a second part after the vault. It just doesn't seem resolved. I've also maxed out Piper but she didn't have a quest at all, just some dialogue at times. Should I keep going with Cait or Piper because i'm not finished with their quest line maybe? Or should I work on Strong instead.

I just finished the intro quest with Danse where you find the Deep Range Transmitter. When I finished the quest, I heard an explosion like something was falling out of the sky. Piper commented on it so I want to find it. Problem is that it was raining so I have no idea where to look. Has anyone else encountered this? I'm directly north of the ArcJet facility.

By hitting them first, your attacks have a wind up and you can have attack during a sprint. so just run to them and swing.

Admittedly deathclaws/assaultrons with their really quick attacks can get a bit difficult but sledges both regular and super have massive stagger(and in supers case a stun as well) so you only need one hit to cause a chainlock that they cant get out of.

Before that i used big jim which takes out the legs of enemies no matter where you hit them and many items lose a shitload of combat effectiveness without legs, ghouls will just lie there and take, yao guai only get one really lazy and slow swipe, etc
