you're not going to turn a fight around because you got your cooldowns back 2.5 seconds later and finished your would-be killer with another combo

you're also not going to escape 2.5 seconds later, so all zhonya's buys you is the option to wait for your team to save you

just buy a banshee's veil so you can't get caught out in the first place, sitting in place is counterproductive on a kiting champion

Zhonyas won't save you from Blitz hook. It'll just make you die 2 seconds later. Get ludens echo on him and run ms quints and alacrity boot enchant. You'll run as fast as if you had mobility boots and you can kite for days (and dodge hooks). Kiting forever is when Velkoz is in his wheelhouse.

As a mid laner, i usually go Morello - Luden's - Sorcerer Boots - Rabbadon - Void - Zhonya
Rylai/Liandry's aren't that great on mid Karma, Liandry's can be good if they're tanky, but you don't need rylai your Q already slows the enemies.

As a support I prefer to build her utility AP.
She need maximum CDR to spam mantra'd shield.
A good support Karma build would be
FQC - Sighstone - CDR Boots - Zeke - Banner - a NLR item of your choice. (Get Ardent Censer if your team has a lot of auto attackers)
Also I like locket on Karma, her role as a support is to spam AOE Shields.

I have to admit though that Darius was pretty good and got pretty fed on Ashe as she kept getting caught but he dropped off since he couldn't build a full Darius build due to playing support and Lee was just Lee being easily baited into trying to kick me only to get stunned. Word of advice dont build warmogs on leona, ever. Even a frozen mallet is better. You gain nothing at all from it. Against vayne especially dont get sunfire, that thing is shit unless your in specfici top lane match ups. Get frozen heart since it slows both auto attackers. Against vayne its an especially better choice than say randuins since her damage is mainly from her passive.
