Kuzuki holds an amazing advantage the first time he fights someone, but if the person is experienced and they survive somehow, then they have a chance to fight back. Nanaya would be a tough nut to crack and he has a special ability, unlike Kuzuki who relies solely on his martial arts skills and the element of surprise. I'd personally take Kuzuki just because there is such an overwhelming chance for him to catch people off guard.

People always misunderstand this shit

Its Shirou that cannot match other servants than Gilgamesh, not EMIYA who cannot match others servants. EMIYA is a servant, of course he fights basically every servant in the war, often on par.

UBW as a NP, in itself is not super effective or very effective against other servants if he just tries to use it as a trump card in itself. If he tries to use it like GoB, then he's dead.

EMIYA however can beat other servants, and UBW is a very useful tool, this second point is something people don't get. They hear the Nasu wording and they instantly go "That's wrong" rather than trying to understand what it meant. You just can't use it as a trump card in itself. He has to just use it as another tool in his arsenal rather than relying on it, much like how he uses Mind's Eye and his particular combat style. If he tries to use it to spam, he'd be out of mana almost instantly, and its called "Mostly just annoying" in the same way Nonobunga's 3000 bullets is called annoying. Spamming isn't an effective way to use things, the only reason it sometimes works for Gilgamesh is because sheer concept and quality. However no strong servant will be so much beaten by spam.

The opponent would close in on EMIYA quickly and strike him down if that's all he used.

EMIYA must play the war like Batman; he isn't the best anything, he's in fact called a below average servant but not the weakest, but he's got a decent bag of tricks to take people off their guard and trip people up. If he uses his abilities appropriately he can win wars.

Rather than just calling up his RM and running out of mana in twenty seconds, the preferred method of fighting is pulling out one blade at a time to fit the situation.

This is how to effectively use UBW, for a servant who has to ration mana entirely.

What's the appeal of the Fate series?

People around here seem to hold the series in very high regard, to the point where some even seem to wonder that there are others who didn't like it, and I've become more and more curious as to why that is.

A kid who got in over his head and fought each and every week just for the small chance of staying alive, the kid infinitely tried to grow stronger with their heart on the line each time, just trying to live on for the next day, all they could do was try to live on for tomorrow.

They find out they were never real to begin with, they were little more than a ghost, even less really. Yet, this isn't enough to break them still. strove on because at least for now they're alive, they saved someone as well, they might not deserve this chance but they'll fight on as long as they can still verify their existence. A miracle spawned them, and they weren't keen on giving it up.

Only to reach the end of the line and be told that their existence was a fake heresy, and they needed to be deleted either way.

Their entire reason for getting this far, for trying, was instantly broken. Yet they still had to fight the last battle while knowing it meant nothing in some ways. They had to do it because they had to save the one beside them, the human who was real, and did belong in the world still, unlike them.

In the end they become nothing once more, returning to the nonexistence that spawned them, as though it was all a dream. Even the Mooncell won't record their journey in real detail, since "An NPC that got this far, it must just be a bug".

All of this, and I still find CCC's normal ending even more depressing.
