Where do I find more power armor pieces? I ditched the suit at Sanctuary and have been doing fine up until now, but I'm doing the BoS quest from Danse at 16 and these super mutants at the satellite are kicking my ass, so I grabbed the suit.

I liked the way TLoU handled a post apocalyptic environment more honestly. I get that Fo4 is taking inspo from Mad Max and wants a more desert/dead vibe, but I'm kind of tired of that.

Suits near the Satellite Array?

There's a couple at the national guard training facility to the west of the dish, a mint condition t-51b in a storage container and a random military suit in the bunker. Requires lockpicking or hacking respectively.

Roughly to the south west, near the old church in boston, on a wrecked barge covered in containers and APCs there's an other container with a mint t-51b but only requires novice (unskilled) hacking to open.

Those are the ones near you.

In andrew station, there's a door thats not quite hidden, but not on the beaten path either, and has requires a keypad code to open. It's the only keypad door I've seen so far, and I couldnt find a code anywhere, not even on the named raider that was a bit farther down.

Sanctuary is obviously the Biggest I've seen so far.
Most of the already populated Settlements (Tempines Bluff and such) suck so don't bother with those.

The drive in is a neat place, exect the fucking building zone is JUST inside the fence, so you can't incorportate the already existing fence into your wall around it which just pisses me off.

The boathouse area is nice, just a bit away from that Company settlement. You can't really "build" shit there though.


I haven't seen all of the settlements yet though so I dunno.

Anon there are barely any conversations in the game worth putting points into charisma for. 90% of the time the check is just there for bonus XP and the conversation ends the same way regardless.

If there were ways to complete any quests in the game without violence, it might be worth it, but everyone in the game is default hostile so there's no way to talk your way out of it. Just put points into combat stats instead.

They lost a lot of their scare when you fight one in the 1st quest.
They are still hellish to fight on Survival (unless you have a kneecapper weapon), but survival is so sporadic in its dificulty that random raiders with pipe pistols can fuck you up harder at times.

From randomly spawning legendary enemies. The higher your difficulty they more they spawn.

I really can't tell if the burning damage that you get with some mods is worth it compared to the raw damage you can get from others.
Is it a case of the boring but practical one being better?
The fire damage has only really made a huge difference against weaker enemies for me so far.

I haven't focused completely on sneak attack. Quite a lot of my damage comes from Rifleman and modded weapons. Mirelurks and Deathclaws usually means magdump my 115 dmg Righteous Authority, 82 dmg Combat rifle, or 166 dmg semi-shotgun depending on appropriate range, though I do prefer to sneak attack from afar with my suppressed .50 sniper.

I just witnessed a very strange bug.
I used to have Paladin Danse as a companion. Then, I sent him to the airport and played with Nick as a companion for some time. After a while, I wanted Danse back, so I dismissed Nick.

I went to the airport, but couldn't find Danse. I could hear his voice, and the subtitles confirmed it was him, when approaching the sealed door of the warehouse.
I read he could be sent inside this room if sent to the airport, so I used the console, deactivated collisions, and went though the door.
Danse wasn't inside. But his voice was. The room was empty, but his voice still echoed every few seconds, telling how great the Brotherhood is. The actual NPC was nowhere to be found.

So I went outside, turned collision back on used the console a second time, this time to make Danse appear next to me. He did, but then something weird happened. He began walking, and when I talked to him, he stopped, but did nothing else. No response, he was also completely silent when I was next to him. I figured I'd simply follow him.

He walked to the transport leading to the Prydwen and disappeared. I followed him on the airship, where he went into the command bridge, then into the main bridge, only stopping in his default place, the mess hall.

He then just stood there. He doesn't respond to my attempts to talk to him, and doesn't emit a sound. I went outside and came back, but nothing changed. I can't interact with him in any way.

I wondered if his "voice" had stayed in the airport warehouse. I went back there, went through the dor using console, but the room was completely silent. No "Paladin Danse" talking.

How do get my companion back ?

You are going to either need agility for the sneaking. Or perception for the shootan.

Cha and Agl pair well because you can sneak up on fuckers and have them surrender and eventually turn them into extra guns on your side.

Per and Int pair well because with int you are going to be making guns and per lets you use them more effectively. Plus the per and int combo gives you access to both hacker and lockpick which means nothing is forever off limits to your character.
