I made a mistake. A terrible mistake.
When I used the console to teleport Paladin Danse next to me, I used the base ID.
I figured it out when retrying, and realizing I created two soulless Danses, now standing one next to the other in the Prydwen mess hall. They do not talk and do not react to interactions. When one is attacked, they both turn hostile, but not the surrounding BoS members. They are both immortal.

The true Danse however, the one with the ref ID... where is he ? Where to find him ? Can I teleport him next to me ? When I try using the player.placeatme command in the console using Danse's ref ID, I get an error.

Please help me.

You just have to be in 1st person view and up against a wall to where your gun is doing the "pressed in" animation. When you hold the aim down the sights, you will peak out from around the corner the direction you're looking.

I fixed the problem.
I used player.moveto + Danses's ref ID.
It teleported me inside the warehouse, where he was in flesh and bones, the real deal, not just his disembodied voice. He's now my companion again.

The two immortal Synth-Danses are still on the Prydwen though, and seeing as they're immortal, I guess they'll be staying here forever.

There are now three Danses in my world, due to my failed attempts at correcting a bug.
