so i'm new and in one of the previous threads i asked around about what heroes i could main being brand new to this game (~70 hours) that i could stick with for a long time, because i feel like if i main a hero i'll learn more at the pace i want

If you have to tunnel vision a few heros, pick very different ones. A good support, a farm heavy carry and a brawler early fighter, learn as much as you can about different aspects of dota so you can help your team out when they're in a role that you now better understand

Ie if you've played carry then when you support you'll better know what he needs and wants, and when you're some early fighter like bristle/nightstalker/whatever you'll know to give your carry space to farm etc

Play Lich, you can go solo offlane, support safelane or support offlane or even go mid if you're an absolute madman.

Skill leveling priority (level the best possible option you have available): Ulti > Sacrifice > Frost Blast > Armor > Stats

Always use sacrifice on creeps as soon as it's off cd during laning even if you're at full mana, use it on the siege creep on the wave it spawns.

You literally can't fuck up your items, your core build is brown boots and a tp scroll, after that you can build absolutely anything you want (except not divine rapier).

Group B matches, save for when Peruvians were involved, were all very close and fun to watch, but I think that Miracle~ isn't at his top game since this morning, instead he made a huge missplay during the last game against Vega, where he didn't put one of his items inside the courier before picking up an aegis and was without a tp, which led him to having to sell his boots in order to tp (late) to defend against Vega's push, and worse, he got immediately glimpsed back even through his BKB was off cd, leading to the loss of a full lane of raxes and a mid tier 3, which made it extremely hard for his team to leave their own base.

He played well in general, but wasn't as dominating as you would expect, which is sad considering how his team was playing so well, save for Crit game as Phoenix, god that guy is awful at playing Phoenix.

While I don't think OG will lose against Fnatic, it certainly is possible, if these sort of mistakes keep on happening.

Group A was pretty standard, no surprises, it had a very strong team, an inconsistent one and 2 weak teams, so the result was pretty obvious.

Hey guys I just had a game as Phantom Lancer midlane versus a Windranger. It went pretty well.

I went WB + 2 branch + 2 pulled tangos to lane.

Built Bottle -> Aquila -> Treads -> Diffusal -> Manta -> Heart -> Butterfly -> Diffusal II and had about 620 GPM and XPM. 259 LH to 47M. 12-4-8.

I heard people saying that lifesteal is required for PL but I seemed to get on by just fine without it because I had bottle charges to sustain and the illusions were tanking jungle creeps.

I was just wondering is that farm okay given that I had a pretty heavy mid-game presence as a team fighter. Does lifesteal accelerate your farm any? Or is it a shit item on PL?
