If you're in the BoS, just search around the prydwen and base, spawns reset and and you can take almost anything

You can farm legendary deathclaws in Kendell Hospital.
This works because it spawns when you jump on the cage.
Its loot table is fixed the moment it spawns though so you need to redo this every time you are unhappy with the drop.

I just don't see the point. The only way you'll need better weapons is if you play survival, but the only reason to play survival is for the challenge. Why would you make the game harder and then cheat at the game to make it easier?

I died to some plasma mines during the first quest for the Railroad, loaded my previous save, then the mines werent there.

Turns out the synths can use mines on top of some crazy judo moves. Deacon knows something about that, he got supplex'd in front of me.

They didnt place 1, but 3 mines actually.

There is good bits of technology in this game.

If I'm not wrong there is 3 main factions you choose to side with right ?
Railroad who wants to free the synths, the Institute who wants to use them as tools, and the BoS who wants to destroy every last one of them ?
I didnt do anything regarding the BoS and the Institute yet, only that first Railroad quest, so I'd like to know if I'm not mistaken, so I can choose who to side with.

Also, are the terminals unlocking doors bugged ? I always have to wait forever for the door to actually open after using a terminal, sometimes it says 'busy' and doesnt do shit, sometimes it goes back to locked even though I got the password right and clicked on 'unlock' multiples times.

Why don't my companions use the guns I tell them to equip?

After a loading screen they're back to their old weapon.

Can you actually craft power armour parts? I had a complete one in my settlement, but I fucked up and dropped a part and didn't notice until after I left and now it is gone.
Or do I have to use the console to replace it? (Doesn't that disable achievements I think?)

Some of the random drops can really be game changing when you play survival, according to your build.

I had 2 different armor pieces with the '15% reduced damage when standing still', a melee weapon with that same mod, and another armor piece that gives insane physical and energy resistance the lower your health goes.
For a melee build those items are crazy OP.

The thing about factions in Fallout 4 is that the premise for their existence is not the same as Fallout NV.

In NV these factions all have competing interests focused around a central conflict that the player is involved in.

In FO4 these factions are just groups of people that are in the Commonwealth. You can join all of them for most of the game because they all, for the most part, have nothing to do with one another in any way.

Yeah, I went back to see if I could get the Cryo gun with Piper, then I went back there to see if Nora was still frozen. Piper was busy looking at the computer and saying "Oh...everyone died" and then she says that when she realizes who that is in the pod.
