I can't believe it. Green layer is useless. It doesn't plus, it doesn't search, it's to grave effect is a -1, it doesn't even have 1700 atk and is a fucking spellcaster.

Green mechabeast is a splashable generic R4NK out to Magnus, SQMP's only good card, only power play, and only win condition. And most pendulum decks have an easier time summoning it than SQMP itself does.

They saved these two for last, too. After presenting us with what is quite possibly one of the game's strongest ever boss monsters, two thirds of an engine on the cusp of decency that could be made or broken on one card alone, the two final cards the entire deck depends on to be relevant or not aren't simply bad or a let down, they actively and deliberately work against the deck and made it less viable than if they didn't exist at all. Green layer and green mechabeast could have been effectless and they'd have been significantly better than what we got.

It's like some sort of shitty practical joke. There is no reasonable way these cards weren't made and withheld as the two cards with the intention to ruin quantumsand disappoint everyone.

The good news is SQMP was the only interesting thing I'd been looking forward to this upcoming format, and between this, EmEm 81% tops and $160 dark destroyers I can finally quit this fucking shit game for good and go play actual vidya.

Green isn't too bad really considering you first turn magnus with it in a decent hand. It seems to be the easiest way to make sure you get all 3 on the field to transform all 3, make all your minuses to go into Voltron with no cards left, but 6 material.

They're completely different and you know it. These special packs are all Arc-V anime shit designed to pander to casuals with a new archetype to pad the set, Psyframes being ok was mostly a mistake. With The Secret Forces they knew exactly what they were doing: making a meta-defining archetype and two relatively good competitive archetypes to soften the blow that Nekroz was short-printed.

In fact, they probably realised how good Psyframes were too late, which is why Omega got shortprinted. You think Magnus or some shit is gonna get shorted? No.

Yes, just cut discard traps and run solemn, vanity's, griefing, foolish, raigeki, and dark hole. The rest of your deck should be monsters.

You can also run skill drain to outskill kozmo and majespecters.

The deck is nowhere near the best but can still float like a motherfucker and make plays.

High monster count and crane crane is your friend.

I think the deck that takes the most simultaneous skill and luck is Counter Fairies. They are the epitome of what it means to be playing a card game.

To be fair, they have a few decent cards. Shocktrooper is a great Rabbit target to make King of the Feral Imps and set up a synchro play next turn with Ammonite, and Gol'gar's Spell/Trap bouncing is alright too. They really just need a way to keep A-Counters on the board, and more cards to actually let them do shit with A-Counters. A Field Spell and an Infernity Barrier clone would go miles for the archetype.
