I would watch it, however it'd have to be the reboot version of the comics. Ken Penders and his characters were anything but a cancerous tumor on the sonic franchise as a whole, plus him and his flippin kids to if he passed away would sue the hell out of it.

Merchandise, I wouldn't mind seeing some games based on the comic. Little better story-lines that could be used vs the shit SEGA cranks out right now. Love to see some action figures as well from the comics. It would look great on my Fantasy Model Railroad instead of the same 5 (Sonic, Tails, Knux, Amy Eggman).

I don't know, Tails and Sticks are the biggest opposites in the shows, and not in the opposites attract sort of way. Tails loves technology, and wants to use it to help people, where Sticks hates technology, and wants to destroy it, before her paranoid thoughts convince her that technology will brain wash people. I don't see how Tails would want to date anyone who hates inventions. Sticks also seems to distrust, or accuse Tails the most about being part of a conspiracy. Just to think, if Sonic wasn't around to stand up for Tails, Sticks would have likely killed Tails with her paranoid freak outs. Yes, the two are cute together, but they're just two radically different, and would not end up in a relationship long. I don't like to ship characters that have no hints at relationships, but if Sticks were to be romantically interested in anyone, I could see her liking Knuckles. Sticks and Knuckles have a lot in common. Both love nature and the outdoors. Sticks probably admires Knuckles' strength and physical fighting style. Sticks could probably trust Knuckles the most, because since he's not the smartest, she probably figures he's the least likely to ever become mind controlled, and therefore could never turn against her. Like I said, I don't like to ship characters, unless there is enough evidence to support their interests.

Not as long as we have comedy writers handling the series exclusively.

Though Sonic suffers on either extreme, since in the edgy times, comedy was more ham fisted, just like the actual conflict in Lost World falling flat on its face due to next to nobody really being able to take Eggman or the Snoozing Six seriously.

Sonic seems to be stuck in either a nightmare like SATAM / Penders-verse serious, or over the top comedy like Boom / Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, when it comes to storytelling. The games are still just gonna use it to justify from going from Point A to Point B, so guess it doesn't matter in the end.

Skelly is top notch for action and comedy filled issues, while Evan is better for plot-heavy issues packed with character moments. Other standouts are Thomas, Gray, and Hesse. Archie has a good crew on their hands for art and writing. Now if they would just axe Terry Austin before he fucks up any more pencil work with his inking.

I really hate gray, his style is alright for the off panel but it looks way to much like Samurai Jack, Pantry X Stocking, and more recent cartoons being produced. Blocky as I guess you would call it.

My Favorite would Spaz, his detail is down right amazing and gives it a realistic look.
