Yes
When you kill an enemy with a gun, they'll drop two things. The gun, and their spare ammo. Most people just pick up the spare ammo, but the gun also contains whatever they had left in the magazine / chamber, which you WON'T get just by picking up ammo. In the case of synths with their high mag laser rifles, as well as shit like smgs, you'll actually pick up more ammo by picking up the weapon.

Always pick up weapons that contain ammo you need, even if you have to drop them right after.

How is the performance of the game for you versus your rig's specs? I have not bought it yet because I'm waiting until all the usual launch issues are resolved in one way or another.

You know, on the one hand the Pipe Rifle made from the pistol is probably my favorite kind of weapon. It's basically just a semi-auto carbine. With the hair trigger housing or whatever on it the thing fires nice and fast.

It just doesn't deal any fucking damage.

I sent my dog back to Sanctuary after he started wandering into houses infront of me and setting off the explosives.

However, I can't seem to find him in sanctuary or the rocket place he initially starts in.

He's probably there but the area is pretty large when you take into account the buildings, and I guess my perception is so low that I can't see friendly NPCs on the radar. I put a dog house down but he's not in it.

Any ideas? Playing on PC so if anyone knows the command I guess I can use that.

Does anyone else have REALLY fucking long load times for fast travel? My load times are nearly a minute fucking long sometimes. Entering buildings has also gotten to 20 seconds.

Anyone found a solution to unlock 60 fps without completely breaking the entire fucking game? I just wanna play the game without it running like complete garbage.

I just put on adaptive vsync, changed the fov and put this under general iFPSClamp=60. Everything is sped up, and every time i use a terminal my character gets stuck in limbo.

I've literally searched the entire area for crops and only found two melons and a bunch of mutfruit plants that for some stupid reason don't let me replant them.

Anyone else having problems with Terminals making your character stuck? All i did was change the fucking field of view and balance the X and Y mouse scale.

I will for my next computer build when pascal comes out. Going with a full on fresh start since my PSU isn't modular, my case is too small, my i5 is the 2500k, and I'm stuck with a 4 year old HDD that could be kicking the bucket any day now. It's usually a combo of both, but in this case I'd put it mostly on the game's fault.
My overclock is stable to the point that I never get blue screens on anything but full load, and even then there has to be some kind of problem with the game doing something weird with CPU usage.
The exception was when there was a good amount of dust I had continually been missing during my cleanings getting into the HDD area / fan, which was causing that sucker to overheat and gave me like a half dozen blue screens over the summer, though once I fixed it I didn't have any issues.

I can fire 9 shots before reloading at a damage higher than the musket, and my reload is MUCH quicker. Not to mention it's an upgraded Righteous Authority, so my crits do double damage.

Those are the only stats that affect it.

The problem with the musket is you can barely change the damage of the rifle, so you're stuck with really low base damage per cell, whereas my laser rifle gets double the base damage of a full upgraded musket (so is equivalent to a double charge shot basically)

So I looted a bunch of stuff for its materials but I can't seem to salvage it. How do I get the stuff like Acid, Adhesive, Leather, Bone, etc from Junk component?

Do you use Fusion Cores by just walking around and only shooting weapons with your power armor? I feel safer in the armor but don't want to waste it.
