I figure for now I'm going to look into CSSJ and Tri Slosher. I think Disruptors are underrated but really need 1 Bomb Range to make full use of them. Thing I like about the Tri Slosher is that it has a really fast fire rate and even clipping with the edge of the slosh does 62.7 damage or so, meaning you only need to hit someone twice. I feel like Echo is better for pressing your advantage by holding your position while Bubble is better for taking an objective or making a very tight defense.

Ever since being pushed into the role of a support in other games I've come to enjoy it but full on support weapons don't seem to be that great in splatoon because it's a 4v4, which makes CSSJ difficult but I think Trislosher is more viable.

We are all here forever, but I think /ink/ is probably one of the healthier places to be site-wise.
But yeah, I hear you on the non-viability aspect, especially if you are playing random ranked and you suddenly have a team of loners. But even in that case, you can just pick a buddy.
Ranked as a whole though should, in theory, lend itself well to support play-style since all of the objectives are centralized in one area, except for SZ with two zones.
This conversation has convinced me to get ahead on this new support meta. No more Tentateks for me, senpai.

The range allows you to hit the opposite sniper perch on Moray. I will always run Splatterscope on Moray. And as long as you don't hold a charge for more than a second, you don't really lose out on peripheral vision.

I picked it up for maps where my usual mains are shit because it's an easy 3 shot and suction bombs are too good

i'm not a very good tentatek though, I just play it to throw suction bombs around. tentatek can accommodate so many different skills it's all down to preference what you want to use. start with 2x swim speed + cold blooded though, those are pretty essential.
