Most of the time if I'm on tanking duty, I feel compelled to play someone who has a lot of CC - Chen isn't great in that department. I'll purchase him someday when I have gold spare, keeping a bit of a reserve at the moment, even if it does mean no dual mages. Uther's early game heals are much stronger than Rehgar's. In fact, multiple high level players have stated that the reason Rehgar's winrate is so low is because he has low early game impact compared to other supports. Later on, Uther still heals more than Rehgar on a single target, and he's much more versatile with a stun and benediction, letting him choose to double one of his abilities. Likewise, divine shield is more versatile than ancestral. It is applied instantly, so you can't fuck it up by waiting too long and letting your target die or not waiting long enough and wasting a portion of the healing. The DS target can immediately go back into the fight and do whatever it is they want to do while still getting healed to full from Uther. DS also makes the target CC immune and fast, so you can use it on targets like Illidan to let them fucking annihilate the enemy team without any sort of repercussions.

Uther is good, fuck off with your garbage opinions.
