Hey hotsg, I been playing Medic a lot in solo queues, and managed to win quite a few games over losing games.

I know she has the weakness of being vulnerable to being focused, however I still feel that shes pretty good.

Which ult is considered better? I know the stim drone is good if you have a illidan or something, but I get more use out of her drop ship.

Did you know that if she summons a drop ship, she is basically granted quite a bit of HP kind of like how Tychus did it with his Thor pre-nerf? I pick dropship, use it whenever I'm getting jumped on during a team fight, set the location relatively close, and it has saved my life and won us team fights several times. I can see it getting nerfed though, sadly.

Masters player here, I honestly feel medic is a good healer (almost better than a few of the meta ones right now) IF -- and that's a huge if -- you can stay alive and use her damage mitigation properly. I still don't trust randoms in solo queue to play her, but if you were good enough at positioning, she could work out well for you.

Stim is good when you have synergy like Raynor or melee assassins, but medivac has more potential uses. Stim is certainly easier to use, but the potential medivac has to push advantages is just great. Since it has such a short cooldown, literally every time you win a fight or get an advantage, you can vac to a boss or other objective and capitalize on your advantage as quickly as possible. I don't think it's getting nerfed at all, though. Not many people have been complaining about anything medic does.

I can see someone taking medivac, taking the medivac 20 talent, calling it in when the group is hurt, everyone jumps in, gets healed, enemy team pops it, then everyone is at full health and rapes face.

The medivac 20 is alright I guess, but it's trash compared to the trait upgrade. The more of your team that's in the medivac, the fewer people there are outside to stop the enemy team from bursting it down. Alternatively, you could take the trait upgrade and have an easier time staying alive and just heal everyone yourself.

Takedowns are a completely useless measure of individual performance. You get credit for a takedown just by being a near a team kill even if you didn't actually do anything. Adding K/A is a major step in the right direction if they want to attract better players.

That's what the death counter is for. Players overextend even without the kills stat. It doesn't change the fact it's an important stat that shouldn't be left out.

I don't get how takedowns don't say anything. They are just K+A. So many Nova players fucking harp about them carrying the team because they murder things, even though early on it doesn't matter because the XP gain is mitigated by their lack of soak and inability to do anything else.

Early game Tributes and Immortals regularly have you killing 3 of the enemy team, only for them to appear while you are chasing that last guy because respawn timers are about 10 seconds long.

And honestly, kills are only important later in the game when them not being present ends up mattering. And that shit already taken into account by the stats screen, it is the enemy's stats. If they have fucktons of deaths, they are getting killed a lot.

I just feel as though they could've easily just made takedowns more intuitive, as in not counting if you didn't do shit and kept K+A combined without splitting them.

Anyway, maybe you are supposed to chase people for that extra bit of XP, but I've seen so many people literally abandoning Temples to do it and it is frustrating.
