Why do people still bother with Savage Alexander?

All of the fights are garbage aside from A3S, the gear you get from there is only 10 ilvl above esoterics (ontop of being on a weekly lockout) and will become easy as shit to obtain once patch 3.1 releases since airships and hunts will throw out the gear like crazy.

I just don't get why people fucking bother with it. Did anyone actually prefer Alexander over Coil?

Just remember that you only get one fantasia for free (those vet vials you keep mentioning), I believe you can get two more from ARR and HW collectors upgrades still, but don't waste it on something as dumb as a skin change unless you're really sure of it.

As an aside: Monk is probably the most complicated of the physical melee simply because of all the positional requirements built into the main combos. It feels damn satisfying to pull off though, and you won't have bosses flinging around/shit tanks at 60 (usually)

I'm under the impression that it makes it possible to catch stuff with the wrong bait.

So I was looking on FFLogs a bit just to compare where I'm at on SCH dps in A3S comparative to some of the top players.

Some of them are in the high 500s. Are they getting lucky and not getting the digititis debuff or what? Because I've noticed if I get the digititis debuff my dps drops from like 500 to like 300 in no time. Am I doing something wrong?

Q: Are there any plans to add a feature where any item you obtain once is recorded in some sort of a directory, and even if you get rid of that equipment, you can use a glamour prism on anything in the directory? With a feature like this, users could create a lot more room in their inventories.
A: Yoshida: If that were possible, it would be easier to just increase inventory space. Every player would have to acquire item obtainment information data, which would be very difficult.

This >>121684104, just got out of a sub 15 min fractal run. SCH was actually dpsing and pulls were being melted all the while keeping the group topped off AND stone skinned as best as they could.

Half of it is on you to learn how to effectively stance dance and the other half is learning how to feel out how good your tank is and observing if the dps aren't complete idiots and can sidestep telegraphs.

Focus on stone skinning at least the tank before each pull, pop a regen on the tank while under divine seal, learn to stance dance, if you can toss out a Swiftcast + Aero 3 and Presence of Mind + Stone 3/2 every once in a while you'll be fine.

You have it MUCH easier dpsing as a WHM. If shit goes south you can use Benediction while in cleric stance or switch back and toss a Tetragrammaton.
