wow, de dusg did a REALLY good play, he bought an item in the LAST SECOND of the match which saved the gam,e. i think he's not an overpowered hero, he just takes lots of skill to play. the best bit was when his team helped to take out ember spirit, but instead ofj oining in to help the kill, he already knew it was got, so he used his ice shards to help move the middle lane. this in the end bought his team closer to the objective, causing them to win. he is really the best garry, he wins the game through different to normal means.

I have many complaints about the current direction of the game, but my biggest is this:

There are less level 1 killers than ever before. Where is my Edict Lesh? Max distance lv 1 Skewer Magnus? Mirana arrows chunking players for 1/3 HP? Techies land mines that don't hit like wet noodles? Why even have laning if there is no alternate outcome to how a lane matchup should sway? Heroes have been gutted, they have had their own strengths removed in favour for 'team based synergy'. Yes, the teamplay is greater, but it diminishes individual skill greatly, and we are at that point where dota is only really being played between the 5 and 15 minute mark.

Before 5 minutes, spells are too weak, and after 15 minutes, it becomes more efficient to just brute force fights through passives, stats, item and cooldown management rather than focusing on landing your skills. I saw some game involving OG where a team ate a full Lich ult, and won the fight 4 to 0. Both teams were even on gold. Why should this be a thing? Lich ult used to instantly kill 2 people clumping (and it allowed for skilled solo play), now its got a buffer time that makes it near useless unless you have a +1 with AOE stuns. These changes to 'teamplay' ends up ruining the feel of the game.

It is not worth ganking a low level enemy hero. You get 200-250 gold, less than 200 exp, while expending a smoke and the risk of the gank going wrong. Your lane outcome is predetermined, and yet it is also inconsequential to the tempo of the game. Lost 3 lanes? No big deal, just get a mid game pickoff and your shitty laning setup meant nothing in the end!
