Is there any way to make WoW fun?

I'm not being a douche, I'm actually asking. I've tried a couple times to get into it but I just can't for whatever reason. It feels sort of lifeless, and like I have no real goal or story or anything. Which is super disappointing because the actual world seems super fucking rad. I WANT to be able to enjoy all this content in this really fleshed out world and everything.

The most fun I had was playing the starting bits of a Worgen, because I felt like shit was actually happening and I tried to invest myself into my character.

Unless you have a friend or friends to play with, the game can only offer so much for solo entertainment. All leveling is better done with friends unless you're trying to set speed records, and even then using the recruit-a-friend system is infinitely faster for a new player.

I suggest finding a friend, using a voip like skype, and shooting the shit while leveling until you can get to your end level and do some group content. Not now though, unless you want to make some gold before the new expac. The game isn't exactly in at a fun point, though being new could definitely be a plus for your own opinion towards the current level of entertainment offered.

Honestly though, I'd start something like two/three months before Legion if I were you. Hold off a bit and then catch up to the older players.

Classic intro is still my favorite because of how well it sets the tone, the Dwarf on the ridge looking at Ironforge says "holy shit this world is cool and big" to when it goes back to him about to fight the Tauren saying "holy shit you get to kick the shit out of other players" was fantastic and really incites excitement

Vol'jin is more of a rational-shadowy type of leader. More of a leader instead of a warrior king, if that makes sense. Also her will to fight and survive against death and radical evil is kind of what she's known for, the whole will of the forsaken culture probably partially coming from that.

Why the FUCK did Blizzard not just make the movie themselves? It's been well known that everyone loves the cinematics, and they've consistently added more and more to each expansion's intro. There's enough actual cinematics in the game to count as a full movie, so why can't they just you know, release Legion, have a few devs to fix bugs, and work on the movie themselves during Legion? Would've been a perfect way to advertise the game.

the way garrosh died was infuriating, though stil fitting. gameplay wise it was indeed terrible and i wanted to drop wow for good after watching it. he was one of my favorite characters and an inspiration for myself since they started building him up. i actually felt like i was in the horde once again since, i dont know, warcraft 2
