I finished Archimonde mythic at rank 130, average 10 hours a week. I never experienced the adrenaline-rush most top 20 guilds have because of our predetermined time constraints, but we're done with the content.
Spending over a year just waiting for the next rush is really devastating. It doesn't matter how much fun you're having during progression when you sit for a year, disappointed. Getting BiS doesn't matter, nor does the 40k you get every week for boosting Blackhand, and soon, Archimonde.
I really do hope that Blizzard, unlike WoD, will release the expansion much sooner than their expected deadline.

At the risk of being called a shill, I'll just say my piece:

1.) I don't see the issue with the release date. I am not subbed to WoW and haven't been for half a year. If I have to wait more for the expansion, then what do I care? Just means a more polished experience and playing other games in the meantime.

2.) The early access is only 1 week before. That's cool, actually, I don't find it lame at all. I'd love to get the pre-patch world event done on a DH. Feels more authentic if I'm going to play him in the expansion. Plus I can level professions and all that jazz.

3.) Price tag issue? Non-issue for me. I ALWAYS get hundreds of hours out of WoW when I buy a new expansion. There is still a lot to do, if we're comparing it to most AAA games that come out.

It's a half-assed attempt of a buff and will not even remotely fix any of the real problems such as having terrible cooldowns and poor scaling. The 10 ilvl scaling will have a much greater effect on every other class, meaning the buff is almost just to keep death knights from falling even further behind. It's not so much a buff as life support.

Honestly the real problem stems from the legendary ring, it really fucked over DKs.

Stacking cooldowns with the legendary ring gives you a humongous increase in damage. All of the DK cooldowns are pretty terrible so once people started getting their legendary rings death knights started falling behind.

Everyone is playing unholy now because it has "slightly" better cds than frost but Breath of Sindragosa play-style is so cancerous it gives you autism. Not to mention a BRF trinket is literally BiS for unholy (which you won't be able to upgrade 10 ilvls because its not HFC).

What is up with Guldan freezing Illidan? It's like he is doing all he can to make the legion fail, I wouldn't be surprised if Sargeras slaps his shit.

I don't see much of a reason to complain anymore. I can play for free now with tokens and I have more time to level alts to make more garrisons to print even more free gold.

except Melee spots are at such a fucking premium for Mythic thanks to fights like Killrog, Gorefiend and Mannoroth, plus one of them NEEDS to be Rogue for smokescreen and the other NEEDS to be DK for grips that you are pretty much open to maaybe 2 more Melee spots, and most guilds run multiple DKs anyways. Anything a Ret Paladin could bring outside of mediocre DPS is already covered by the Holy Pally, so they are the first to get cut everytime.
