The Reapers where the least of the trilogy's problems. Shorter development cycles and decreased production values were. Also, no group vision and planning. If anything, ME was a franchise deserving to be milked before the Reapers reached the milky way. Remember how AssCreed got the treatment with 2, then brotherhood, then revelations before moving on to 3? Filler, granted, but ME needed a whole lot more to it before reaching its culmination with the reaper war. Everything was rushed. As for old characters, I'm afraid to say that Bioware dismissed them way too fast. Well, not all of them. Garrus, Tali and Liara I'm sure have overstayed their welcome, but Wrex, Thane, Mordin, Legion, Grunt, Samara, Jack and Miranda could all use some more development and, for once, happening on screen, not in the time span between games.

I would love to see a game, 2 player co-op with just Jack and Miranda. Chance for tons of banter, explosive, dominant personalities colliding every so often and through all that, developing a bond of camaraderie. Especially since Bioware seems to be pushing the whole feminist agenda so hard and they have two very strong female characters, underused, that go so well with each other and that the fanbase likes. That's what I'd like.
