That's odd, in my Persia save the same thing kept happening to me. I even had +5.0 attack generals, but not a single one with 3.0 defense, 2.0 by your timeframe.
Also, when you backstab the UK, make sure they'll release the Trucial States for Bahrain and Qatar, there's a decision to get free cores on them and they have some ebin tax modifiers as well.

As I recall, every feature in Conquest of Paradise was free, even for people without the expansion, except for the random new world option and playing as a colonial nation.

Just looking at the recent dev diaries, there are so many features in the Cossacks that seem like they should be free. The improved espionage, for example.

Beating Russia is another story though as they keep sending stacks and get no war exhaustion, but it's pretty easy to beat allieless Ottomans and even the Brits in the 1910s. Ally Japan and Germany and get one state from Russia at a time unless it's one of those saves where they crumble in front of thousands of revolutions.
Industry and military score wise, you should hold on to their top 8 easily as well, and you can get +500 prestige in the 1920s without prestige spamming at all.

I got around an old request about accepting natives. It also solves the problems about immigrants assimilating in native cultures as the act will give some time for all countries to have the primary culture spread enough.

Maybe I will add a few more requirements like an UH that is enough liberal/socialist and some money spending too.

Right now the decision only takes into account natives in your core territories and it can be used only once per country. It means that if you conquer Canada as Brazil, Inuits will not be accepted if you use this decision, unless they move to the amazon. Any natives living in core territory, however, will be considered a country true native and will become accepted.

The beauty of the model is that I don't need to create a decision for each country. One decision will take care of all the natives.
For now, Dixie, Yankee and Texan countries are the only ones excluded from the decision. The country needs to have their capital in americas too.

The Métis are a part of the decision too, I don't remember if they get accepted normally in Canada through normal events, but the decision doesn't repeat itself, so it excludes any accepted cultures.

Not anytime in the future. I stopped work in SA just before it, but I need to fix a lot of stuff in Chile and the Pacific War and the venezuelan crisis of 1895 before I think to do it, since it's the last big event in south america.

You know to keep one duchy for yourself, controlling all the lordships and baroness in that duchy? Upgrade the fuck out of that duchy, make it a primary and your heir will always have it unless you go elective and don't keep the Lords happy. Use it as your powerbase to ensure you always have decent personal levy to pull.

Give out everything else to lowborn commoners with good stewardship. ONE TITLE EACH. Once king level, hand out your spare duchy titles too. Only give them to someone that is, de-jure, a part of that duchy. Never give them to random schmucks on the other side of the realm, no matter how much you like them.

Thats about all you need to know to keep your realm stable, relative free from infighting, free from overly powerful vassals, and keep most Lords on good relations with you.
