quality is low while it's processing, youtube is shit today for some reason. No, it's the effect when you manually input a combo skill's command. it does extra line of damage, I think just 1 anyway. Either way there's no reason to not use the commands because they get a like 15% damageb oost by doing it.

How rare are magnificent souls? I was keeping all these shards in hopes of being able to sell a soul, but my inventory is getting really cramped. If it's a super low chance I'll just toss them out.

the reason it's dead on arrival is because it's not fucking maplestory in any way shape or form. Not a single relevant person to the MS1 community still plays it, no major MS1 guilds are still playing it, everyone came back after reboot started in earnest. In korea moneysink games are generally frowned upon. p2notgrind is okay, but outright cashgrabs are usually bad, even if those cashgrabs are cosmetic. It's a totally different mindset.

Anyway, because of that, the insanely expensive things like houses/apartments and customizable outfits got very little use outside of people that were actually willing to spend money, because on top of many other things, unlike MS1, you couldn't spend MS2 mesos to try and get merit. and lots of really really useful items were locked behind it, trade radios chiefly among them, meaning every time you EVER wanted to trade anything above level 40 with ANYONE ANYWHERE, you needed to go ALL the way to kerning, which meant finding a map with a taxi in it, then going to the black market, then back. Which was not only a hassle when grinding, but just plain fucking time consuming compared to the 10 second use trade radio. The very least they could have done would be put a black market trade post in every town, there's only like fucking 7 of them good lord.

So the only point of a meiser cube over a craftsman's cube is that it can go from unique to legendary, and it has a slightly higher chance of upgrading, right? Sure when concentrating you get a better image, but in the end it becomes more or less a polygon per pixel, and then you lose the benefits of having an SVG file, since basically you're down to the same old pixel upscaling, instead of having smooth polygons and vectors.

train is garbage and you never EVER use it unless you're in some area that's entirely vertical. Even then you use material drop because material drop can hit up to three platforms. Material drop does about 10x the damage of train. The entirety of kinesis' playstyle revolves around building PP to shit out more material drop. psychic grab>shove>field>smash>smash>smash>shove>smash>drop>smash>regrab>repeat is about what you do, sprinkling in drops whenever you get them.

Evan has no actual bossing skills besides circle of mana, which nobody uses because it's trash compared to the fusion skills that still do insane damage even though they're meant for mobbing.

Now aran, they got a sweet deal with bossing with enhanced mode and BB being a 4th job skill now.

As for the Evan thing, that just seems entirely untrue. Mana Circle, by itself, already does comparable damage to Illusion, and most of the Fusion skills either have shoddy hitboxes or just flat out low percentages. Breath of Wind seems to be the most efficient Fusion bossing attack, but that only deals 140% for seven lines, which is pretty god damn mediocre. Breath of Wind does less lines, Swift of Thunder won't get consistent hits, Swift of Wind and Dive of Earth are just bad.

it was never used except in tespia, and even there, more people used BPM because you could sit still, hold down charge up to 30 pp since it wasn't a cooldown skill at first, then activate BPM and boss like normal without any hint of stress of keeping up your PP since bpm took away PP so slowly it was almost unnoticable for a free 3 lines a second. Kinesis was entirely overhauled from tespia to main server, including nuking one of his hypers and replacing it entirely. All his ultimates chain together in that leveling up one gives buffs to the others. I guess you could use it if you're using the level 200 hyper and it's half cost, but that's still 3 entire material drops you could get out, to deal so much more damage in such a shorter period of time, without the need to pray the boss doesn't move out of the hitbox.


Evan is simply not boss-friendly. Maybe i'm playing him wrong but he simply doesn't have the right tools for the job. You're not using fusion skills, almost ever, because they last for only a couple seconds, and have a cooldown on them making uptime a huge, enormous fucking GIGANTIC issue.

Aran isn't all that powerful without full combo, and the only reliable way to get it is use the hyper explicitly made to put you in enhanced mode and give you full combo, that's on a 5 minute cooldown.
That's without having to deal with decay either, any boss with DR is basically hell for aran. Gotta not only spam the shit out of bb and fb to try and build combo back up to get your damage back, but also pray decay doesn't eat away hundreds of your combo in the 30 seconds you have to sit around jerking off.

Frankly i'd rank my aran about equal to my kinesis in terms of power, strong, not crazy OP though. that's at base, at full combo, he's just butt fucking retarded OP could shit out BB/FB combos with my eyes closed and 0 damage hmagnus. Much more fun to play, far too active for me to do so constantly though, I should take a hint from the other people and use the hotkeys for skills but since i'm not doing cap damage the extra 20% damage is far too valuable to throw away.
