I was sold on it just from the trailer and how absurd the set up for it was, but I was actually really surprised at how a movie that's whole plot is based around a dead puppy actually takes itself really seriously without stopping to have fun along the way. The two films are some of the best action films in the past decade and I recommend them to as many people as I can.
