You get the hero unlocking memecurrency fast so whatever. You get the card unlocking currency slower at first but then every duplicate you get from the one generic lootbox refunds you. Those boxes give you cards and sometimes cosmetics. You get those basic boxes every account level, you get then one 1st level of every hero(takes a single good game to get) and then on later levels(pic related first 6 levels).
Streams you just link your account on twitch. Verify if it worked by checking if you got the veiled elf sluts twitch mirror.
You get drops from tournament streams and patch streams(maybe more but i dunno).
People play it because the game is decent, it's what i thought OW would be when i bought it.

If you want to compare the player bases, we don't know because OW doesn't release their numbers. But Paladins is steadily increasing and they are expanding into China and such. It doesn't matter, you can keep playing OW and such but in another year, Paladins will have close to double the heroes of OW at their current pace and have a healthy playerbase to keep pace or even outlast OW so long as the whales keep feeding Hi-Rez and stop them from dropping it.

K then some more tips. Resilience is good against characters with knockback or strong CC (namely Ash, Bomb King if he's landing his CC well, Jenos' lift, etc).

You don't have to sit on the point like a dumb rock as frontline, they don't capture any faster with multiple allies on it. If there's an ally standing on the point, don't be afraid to move forward a bit and hold the front.

Mounts help you get from spawn to where you want to go quickly, but you can be shot off of them. If you've killed some enemies and are holding the front line as anyone, you should shoot them off their horse when you see them. It'll stop slower characters from reaching the objective on time, or it'll make people use their mobility skills to get there faster.

When you're playing Makoa, enemies always stop right in front of you when hooked. This means that you can turn around when you hook them, and they'll go right in front of where you're facing. You can do this near ledges to pull somebody off the edge of the map. Plenty of Makoa players do this too, so watch out for it. Also as Makoa, it's a good idea to pull tanks away from the objective as well just to stop them from contesting the cart, or for your team to wail on them.

Don't pick Skye in ranked, or any snipers. And also snipers are only good on the larger maps, I believe timber mill is the only one but not sure.

Cauterize is an item that lowers your victim's healing received when you shoot them with a basic attack (certain skills proc it too). If you're being shot by someone with cauterize level 3 and need healing, go into cover to be healed because cauterize 3 is -90 PERCENT HEALING. Cauterize lasts for only like 1.2 seconds, so it's not OP or anything.

Don't buy Daft Hands unless you're in ultra casual queue. It's a shitter trap because cauterize or wrecker are usually more useful. There's rarely a point where you'll be shooting so much you need near-instant reload, and some characters like Skye have reload cards.

Why does everyone suddenly love this game? It feels so plastic and fake that it pulls me out. All the sound effects are off and the ping it makes when you kill someone is super obnoxious. Then you have the fact that no gun feels like it has any impact, and it leaves me with this feeling of fakeness that i cant get over. At least the other team shooters have tight feel.

Fuckno twitch does that, it makes them money after all. Big numbers draw people and people pay.
As to OW stream botting it's just blizzard according to streamers. I didn't even think about that until i heard more than one streamer talk about it.
