As a lead game designer/coder it would be helpful as I wouldn't have to trim down controls and game complexity to fit the change from pc to controller... The abxy/triangle square circle cross meme has to die and they should add at least two more buttons on that comfortable side that are also easy to reach and don't detriment the rest to make way for better games.

The glossy plastic and noticeably light weight instantly remind me of the ouya controller, which was certifiable shit. I get cramps just from LOOKING at those misshapen handles and button positions. Look at him holding the piece of shit at around 3:20! It looks RIDICULOUSLY uncomfortable! It doesn't anywhere near fit his hands, it's way too small! And that fuckin dpad, seriously looks 5 bucks bargain bin tier.

And the big catch? The big upside that makes all the hassle worth it instead of just going with one of the tried and tested alternatives? You can map controls. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. Yeah it's almost as if that's not necessary for 99.9% of anything you will EVER play. Or can be handled via joy2key or whatever in one of the 0.1% fringe cases. Yeah that's definitely worth the big ass screen taking up half of the face of the controller. And cramming all the buttons to the corners. Not to mention that every piece of extra software your inputs run through causes additional input lag. I bet you ten bucks you'll experience notable delay for your inputs the second you pick that abomination up.

Oh, yeah, and you have a downright cheat function. "If you find yourself doing the same motion over and over", in other words "if you want your shoryuken to come out at the touch of a button". Load of bullshit. And if you ever even CONSIDER using a function like that in a single player title the designers fucked up something fierce and it's not the job of your fucking controller to fix it.

This is honestly amazingly bad. It really baffles me some people sat together, thought about how they could enrich the world, and came to the conclusion, that's the way to go about it. Make the single most ridiculously fucked shitty ass garbage gamepad you could possibly think of. Holy crap. The ALL controller.
