The worst Confidant is Ohya. She's trash from a gameplay perspective and she's the worst looking girl in P5 that you can date. Tae, Hifumi, and Kawakami all have very useful Confidant perks and all four are leagues more attractive than Ohya.

Tae, Ohya, and Futaba had the best confidant stories. Futaba's was pretty cliche perhaps but how it involved so many other characters at different points was nice, you've gotta hate the entire cast in general to think otherwise.

Kawakami and Chihaya had the best perks + their confidants weren't half bad either (I do think Kawakami is way better outside of her confidant than she is in it though, personally) but they just take a little while to get going.

Rest of the female confidants on this game sucked.

The male cast's Confidants were a lot better in this one, for some reason. Even the weakest ones were just okay (that alone puts it above half the female cast's ones right there).

I don't think most people really care about the content of the Confidants anyway, just how the romance scene at the end is and how game-breaking the rewards are.

Ok so I have about 6-7 hours logged into this game, started this week.

When I first got the option to check the network for what other choices people made (5-6 hours in) it said that the average player level was 9. I was level 5 or 6.

I don't get it. Is it because I talked to too many enemies during Hold Up? I fought every optional enemy, and I hadn't infiltrated the palace yet. I'm now more than halfway through the palace and I'm only level 7. Did I fuck something up?

- Chance to enter a gun-based All-out Attack after a successful ambush. (bullet hell)
- Able to scare enemies in negotiation to make it easier to obtain a Persona.

Ohya's perks were useless I enjoyed her slink otherwise though, it was like a more interesting version of Mishima's but one of Chihaya's perks combined with one of Kawakami's perks enables the player to breeze through all the confidants in one playthrough with time to spare.

Hifumi's perks are overrated, they're all gimmick abilities that are completely useless outside of maybe the superboss battle.

Tae is one of the best purely for SP Adhesives and for being hot as fuck.

Teacher has best bonuses and gets you laid.

Shogi bitch has stuff that's somewhat useful and she's kinda hot.

Fortune teller bitch's only useful bonus comes early on and she's ugly.

Also, you didn't post the alcoholic photographer. Most useless bonus possible.

Shoji girl is useful just for her change party member ability then after that you can drop her

Doctor is only good if you are having a hard time getting money and need the SP3 charms for free which are neccessary for finishing palaces in a day

Nah. Hifumi's is pretty dumb but it's still nice. Ohya's is one of the worst because it's a complete retread of Makoto's, which is already cliche and bad. Can't fucking believe they couldn't think of something else for her.

Which is a shame because Ohya's could have actually been one of the best, she's one of the only characters who's Confidant actually ties into the events of the game.

In general this game did male characters way better. The male party members don't get shafted like Ann and Haru and the male confidants are all consistently better than the female ones.

He means the stealth kill after you max out Ryuji's confidant.

What people don't realize is that it only triggers on enemies that are a lower level than you anyway, so if it's triggering all the time you're overleveled and don't have to worry about fighting enemies.

Kawakami can be maxed even before summer vacation, leaving a ton of time where her ability is useful.

Hifumi's party change thing is mediocre until it gets an upgrade, where you can change out members during anyone's turn. And being able to run away immediately is fantastic.

And don't shittalk Chihaya. She has an interesting Confidant as well as providing stellar Confidant bonuses.

Rank 5 to do whatever you want during classes saves time.
Rank 7 allows her to make curry and infiltration tools, saves time.
Rank 10 is the best confidant ability in the game and makes hiring her free.

This confidant is all about saving time and NOTHING is more important in this game than saving time.
