What's the point of playing a "Choice your adventure" game when the Main Character already has a set personality that can't be changed? During my playthrough of LiS, I shitted on Chloe for like 90% of the game, and yet at the end Max still loves her because you're not allowed to deviate from the story. Like if you really want a canon to your game, don't make it a choice you adventure game. In Heavy Rain if a character dies early for example he won't bail the main character out of the police station if he gets caught. Or if the love interest dies in the final level you lose the section where you play as her.

Until Dawn had a good illusion of choice, but it really falls apart on the second playthrough.

Because Persona is a game about Japanese high schoolers and LiS is a game about Western high schoolers, which so something much closer to home. LiS also makes a deliberate and obvious attempt to have its characters sound hip and young and it fails miserably, and that failure is the main issue. That's my main complaint, it feels less like love and more like guilt.

Well this sums up the entire game. Not only going full retard but also goes full denial.She forgot about the storm in entire game just because of this girl, whenever she finds out storm was hitting on Arcadia Bay her first reaction was ''CHLOEEEEEEE I HAVE TO SAVE HER, COME ON MAX CHLOE NEEDS YOU NOW''

Storm was hitting on arcadia bay but despite all prior events in there our hero was only busy with being insecure about she was inevitable for Chloe that she doesn't like her back and gives other people an attention other than herself.
