I honestly have no idea what the hell Cartoon Network is doing right now. Not the quality of the shows necessarily , but more their awful fucking scheduling.

They literally just aired nothing but TTG for a week straight, THE SAME WEEK THE PREMIERED A NEW SHOW. What network does that? They only air 5-6 shows on the network anyway, and TTG is still 50% of the schedule atleast at all times.

Boomerang is also a complete joke. Its basically become Nicktoons for CN, as they air nothing but their other current shows that are soon to get cancelled, even though they could air them on the normal network to give more variety, and Tom and Jerry/Looney Toons once a day. They have this massive backlog of cartoons they could put on there, but instead use it as a wastebin for their B-Tier shows

I rewatched it recently. It still holds up but there are definitely some issues. Odd goes from being a regular guy in season 1, albeit a smartass and a bit of an idiot, to being a complete idiotic narcissist who fucks up and needs bailing. Ulrich and Yumi continue their bullshit through the whole series even though nearly dying every week and realizing petty feuds are petty doesn't get retained. Jeremie becomes an asshole despite being meek in earlier seasons. Aelita went from geeky girl to "bitch I'm fabulous" jackass who put herself in dangerous situations, and the angel aspect they went with in her redesign was eyeroll enducing.

The last season lost a hell of a lot of momentum in taking down replikas, and I hate that Franz Hopper basically did everything important after Jeremie brought Aelita to Earth. He gave her back her fragment, he restarted lyoko, and he fixed Jeremie's program to kill Xana. Let the kids do something important or else why do any of their fights matter.
