Right or wrong, I hope that his video, along with Anderson's, would lead to more discussions to the downsides to modern Fallouts in regards to the older ones. Right now, Fallout 3 still holds dear in many a fanboy, and that halts discussions and criticism on it.

All his that video was more of a defense of what Dark Souls 2 chose to do differently. The video was more in a sense to show of what Dark souls 2 was more than what it wasn't. and shits fine to dislike. From his defense of dark souls 2 video all i got was that its kinda unfair to judge something based on what it is not more so than what it is. At the end of the day, he's not exactly wrong. Sargon for instance more than occasionally defends indefensible people with insults or appeals, and "redpilling" is literally the bizzarro version of "getting woke". Large numbers of people get buttblasted about everything the other sides do here and ironically call each other facists, SJW cucks, racists, etc even when it doesn't apply as all. Especially when it has nothing to do with the talking points.

Whether or not any of the sides involved are more morally reasonable than the others is marginal enough to be a matter of choice, some being more empathetic and others trying to see the big picture a bit more clearly. Ultimately though it's a parade of paragons and pariahs that will generally be all but forgotten in five years and they know it so of course everyone's partisan and generally just adding to the chaos because letting anything slip means you get "destroyed".
