I think it's been pretty well explored in /v/'s constant conversations how Kattleox felt very well lived in.

With every NPC updating where they were and what they had to say just about every single time there was a new cutscene. I legitimately forgot repeatedly while replaying the game that the 'mail' plot of the game was supposed to be about an archeological secret; not the Bonnes attacking the island.

It's a real shame that's what it was shaping up to be. At least judging by MvC3's casting. I mean the Japanese VAs for her,and Trigger in TvC were the same as the PS1 cast.

I admit I haven't seen any interviews with any of the cast but I sadly don't think they reflect on Mega Man Legends as a enjoyable memory that they'd go out of their way to reprise their... role.

As overt as it might be; I'm actually comforted by the conclusions MML2 made.

Because even before what sprung from Legends and theoretically if the entire Mega Man franchise remained ongoing; there'd be nothing redeeming about the arc of the series.

Thousands of years would go by and a megalomaniac would still get into a position they could threaten all of society, and do permanent consistent damage to it and the human race. With the Zero and ZX games we see even with the total transformation of society that saw the human population dwindle from billions to a couple thousand. Reploids and people even after being assimilated into a hybrid race were still not getting along.

The Master's solution might have just moved the pieces around since there's still killer robots out there; but perfectly emulating the human experience in an artificial being destroys the cognitive divisions between reploids and humans.

If I could fly off on a tangent here. I love playing Tron's game, but it is probably the reason I don't like her as a character.

I understand it's probably to serve the format and conventions of the gameplay. But in the course of Misadventures it turns out that:
1 -Tron isn't a genius robotisist;
She actually made the servbots out of a construction kit.
The Servbots are the ones actually building and designing weapons and improvements
Tron has to blatantly copy schematics in order to make improvements; shockingly this includes Tiesel.

2 -Tron isn't even a passable digger or Pilot
The Servbots are doing all the work. Not just the Beacon stuff but piloting, and managing the armaments of the Gustaff.

3 -She isn't really a coldhearted pirate that only warms up to Megaman through lovesick hijinks
Denise should have meant absolutely nothing to Tron, and she should have taken as much satisfaction defeating her as Glyde and Lex and yet she saves her job by handing over the world's most wanted to her.

To this point I can envision an argument being made that Tron just didn't have time to sit away in a lab while there were loans to repay and the other Bonnes were imprisoned. But there's no flavor in the Lab conversations where Tron demonstrates vast engineering or technical understanding.
