RDM is easy, starts at level 50, and you can unlock it if you have Stormblood and another job at 50. Fling spells and run around like a stylish motherfucker, do more damage with less than half the effort of other jobs.

If you're going melee then MNK isn't too bad. DRG is surprisingly complicated past 60 or so but it has a very easy (almost deadly dull) start.

If you want to have the easiest time of all the jobs in every role, play WHM. You can have severe learning and cognitive impairments and still be an acceptably tolerable WHM in normal content.

Most MMOs I've played leading up to XIV, random outdoor mobs would not only be decent fighters that could actually overwhelm the player in numbers, but they'd have an aggro leash larger than three feet and be capable of actually fucking you up if you just ran off the path.
According to a Q&A with Yoshi he wanted to make ARR areas super safe and casual friendly, but ramp up overworld difficulty to near XI levels in HW. Of course this never came to pass for some reason and you can just afk walk through fields of literal dragons.

I loved Heavensward for how well it progressed the plot and developed some of the characters.

If the tank is using their CDs properly and not as panic switches, or saving then for bosses, the fairy can do all the healing exclusively.

Bad SCHs come from not properly getting how their job heals, or tunnelvisioning their dps. If you don't go into a pull properly, you'll be playing catch up with the tank and burn through your aetherflow stacks too quickly.

In my experience there's not much benefit to chain pulling in leveling dungeons unless you have exceptional AoE dps, you're not overgeared for the dungeon at all so you're going to take more damage, meaning the healer can't dps as much, it just makes it a lot more stressful for the healer, it's dumb, I never chain pull in leveling dungeons because it's just not faster in any way the majority of the time. Had a friend who was leveling AST and he would always get Sohm Al and the tanks would pull entire rooms and not use cooldowns meaning he had to blow everything to keep them alive. Chainpulling is not always the most efficient way to burn through a dungeon.
