While history dictates all kings had many wives and concubines, the DW side of things tries to give the impression that much of the cast have healthy relationships and are technically monogamous, like Liu Bei and SSX being love birds despite their relationship being completely political in reality, completely falling apart after Guan Yu died; then there's Sima Yi and Chunhua which were on each other's throats in reality while in the game they are just a funny henpecked husband and scary wife that cares for him duo.

The thing is that I think Lianshi will likely always be portrayed as Sun Quan's true wife, like Liu Bei's wife and mother of Liu Shan is barely even mentioned in favor of making SSX his true love.

Warriors Orochi 3 with its massive roster list I was somewhat exoecting a rushed clusterfuck.
But da,n, al, the characters were unique more or less (they even declone the guys from DW7), the story was relatively simple to understand and coherent and at times pretty solid too and the music was fantastic and they did try to give more people more time in the limelight for each stage.
Clearly effort and love was put into it.

That is by far the most boring, asinine moveset in the entire series. It makes sword movesets look interesting and creative. Its literally just "stand still, and she fires arrows" for all of her attacks.

When that moveset first came out in DW7 I was floored. I couldn't even believe it was real, it was so fucking bad.

The Duck Hooks are better in every single way, inarguable.
