There is no reason you can't make the aiming work exactly like in BOTW considering there is separate sensitivity settings for stick and motion aiming.

I'm getting controller issues with this game and AFAICT this game only. I've tested a lot of different conditions and still can't tell if the problem is with the controller, bluetooth, system, game, or servers. Face buttons sometimes don't do anything and shoulder buttons sometimes depress on a 1-2 second delay. Analogue sticks and gyro are unaffected. Any ideas?

The timed map rotation system is great and it keeps the game from delving into the same issues other multiplayer shooters have, where people just want to play dust2/2fort/dustbowl/Final Destination/Nuketown all the time.

There's a level of awareness to the way multiplayer communities behave and reflected in how Splatoon was designed that I really haven't seen since way back in TF2.

I just think it'd be better if the rotation was a little faster. I don't mind playing any particular map, but just playing 2 maps for hours? Maybe cut the shuffle time in half.

And while having duplicate abilities does stack there are depreciating returns.

I like everything, it's pretty much unchanged from the first game aside from entirely new abilities and maps plus the PvE mode. The one thing I hate is that they still don't let you back out of searching for a match once you queue up, that shit has been around since Halo 2 and they can't figure out the technology to do it? Nonsense.

Way I handle it is if I am constantly getting top place on my team's results after several games and they are consistently fucking up, I just leave after a match and find a new game. I usually take note of the ones that did jack shit during a match and keep a eye on their results at the end.

I'll usually stay if my team is doing well and knows how to play well.

Problem is that you're not guaranteed to have the same teammates even if they're still in the lobby. I always find new players every match regardless because I don't want the losers on the other team who lost to be on mine.
