It should be impossible to scale that building in the middle of Inkblot Art Academy. Whoever has control of that building is nearly unstoppable.

It's not as easy to scale as something like the big tower in the middle of Blackbelly Skatepark.

Leveling seems to take really fucking long. Just got to 10 but I still see there's a bunch of other weapons and builds until like 30 or something. Ink shield is underrated.

It is never going to be super popular because it doesn't let someone splat tons of the other team by themselves and brag about their splats but to a team player it is amazing. Had a partner who kept using it as my team pushed all at once and we would just steamroll the enemy.

Just finished the single player, awesome expansion/evolution of the original. I didn't think I'd get so attached to Callie and Marie.

Pearl gets bullied even by the sunken scrolls though, holy shit. The one about her origin as a singer says a mysterious shockwave damaged the stage during her performance on a show, implying it was caused by her singing. Marina was just among the Octarian audience during the final battle of the first game and felt inspired by Octavio and the Squid Sisters.

Is there different music during a splatfest? I remember hearing a track during the demo that I really liked but haven't heard it at all in multiplayer since launch.

For turf war no. Problem is not just the weapon itself. With some weapons right now it's the specials. Specials are really making a difference, more than I remember in the first game. And too many of the low tier weapons have shit specials. Too many top tier weapons have the best specials. Four Aerospray in on a team in turf means curl bombs everywhere.

29 kills is the highest kill score I've gotten so far. Ranked battle, Tower control. I would consistently wipe their team. Felt amazing.

Also, know each weapon serves its own purpose. If using a fast firing or long range weapon with no or quick charge, rush the middle. If you rush, chances are at least 2-3 members of your team will fill out your side. Don't try to ink everything early on. Save that for late game when shit gets tight.

I'm curious. What do you do when you run into an enemy? Just let them go so you can ink behind them to boost your score? There is no way you can play turf war well without thinking kills are important. The objective of the game is to hold the most ground, not to take the most. That means defending or pushing into enemy territory, which means kills. People who only go for a high score are ignoring the objective just as much as the people who only go for a high kill count.
